94 ranger will a 98 30 motorfit in a 94 30 ranger

It will fit... (but)
Fitting it can be easy or not so easy...

If your replacing a V6 w/ a V6 its a-lot easier.
If your replacing an auto trans setup w/ an auto trans its a-lot easier.
Make sure you use new mounts (and the right ones).

My battery turns on but it won't do anything it won't try to turn over or nothing, it hesitated to turn over 3 times before that now nothing. i

If you see the dashboard lights it does NOT mean the battery is charged enough for the starter to work. Charge it (overnight) or try to jumpstart the car. Or if you want to be sure measure the battery voltage. If it is less then 12V you need to charge it.

94 Mercury sable does not start. had the battery and starter checked. Fuel pump is engaging, and just changed the fuel filter. Any ideas?

if fuel is being delivered, look for an ignition problem (module, relay, distributor). you need 3 things to fire up an engine 1 compression 2 fuel 3 spark

How to replace a front motor mount on a 1993 Mercury Sable 3.0 V6

To change the right front motor mount on a mercury sable. 1. you will need a jack and 22mm and a 5/8 socket.
2. you want to place the jack under the catalyst converter or somewhere on the motor that will lift the motor separatly from the crossbar that the front mount is attached to.
3. apply a little lift to the jack raising the car(3 or 4 hydraulics jack lifts).
4. using the 22 mm socket wrench take the bottom nut off the mount which is located under the right side of the crossbar.
5. using the 5/8 socket remove the top bolt that attaches the mount to the motor.
6. raise the jack 2 or 3 more times( giving you more room to move the old mount out).
7 . remove the old mount paying close attention to the way it is positioned, being sure not to put the new mount in wrong.
8. apply the new mount.
9. apply the top bolt and tighten .
10. lower the jack until the mount is seated correctly onto crossbar.
11. apply bottom nut and tighten.
12. glad i could help!

2000 Dakota battery problems

It's 100% possible bud. I've actually had a battery blow out on me at 3 days old. I was just driving to the store and I shut the car off. I went and got some stuff and came back to a 100% dead car. It had a new altenator and the battery was all but three days old. It was so dead that even the overhead light wouldn't come on. I got a jump start from a friend and made it to napa. They tested the battery and said it reads perfect until you try to draw energy from it.

They told me it was a shorting cell, and that the battery was shot. It was replaced for free; as should yours if you still have the warranty information.
