SOURCE: ran out of gas thought after gave gas the yukon still would not start battery was dead changed battery still nothing was told it was the starter where can i find that on a 1999 yukon

it is underneath, bolted in along side front of transmission, 2 bolts hold it up, (easy to get too). and 2 nuts reove the wires, and its out!...good luck marty

look for vac leak at egr valve, when cold spray carb cleaner on and see if it speeds up the eng

on these models on the harness that plugs into the fan switch goes bad, I changed the switch and found this harness melted together on my 99 yukon

sounds like tranmission may be causing a stall, better get it checked by automatic transmission specialist

1999 yukon service engine soon came on and car stalled and now wont stay on

You will need to have the computer scanned to get the trouble codes.
You can try troubleshooting it the hard way without the codes, but its complicated.

Spark plug wires are arcing on 1999 Yukon Denali, runs rough, wants to stall while idling

If the wires are arcing that means that they need to be changed they have worn out and they can no longer keep the high voltage inside the wire just replace them about $100 and all your problems will be solved

99 gmc yukon daytime running lights dont work checked the fuse but not blown dash indacator shows it is on but are not please help

Make sure Parking brakes are fully released and then check the diode under the dash, drivers side above right foot, remove diode and shunt tyhe connection if lights lite diode is bad. These diode reduce the power by 25% and are prone to fail

Check your sending unit if it is not accurately reading the tank level this will cause your low fuel signal.You may try pulling fuel line loose and checking flow in the lines, if it is not right you may have grit or sand in them if flow is good flush fuel tank and check for blocked fuel injectors
