SOURCE: toyota wont start

EFI= to Electronic Fuel Injection. If you have sparks, check for fuel delivery. Another is the electronic module on your distributor, but you already said you have spark and hopefuly the right "timming" too. So you checked the current and is OK, what else do we have. The computer? Remeber that Camry,is the cadillac of the Toyota. Some even have Lexus parts. So expect parts to be rather expensive!.

SOURCE: i have a 2001 Ford Ranger extra cab. v6, 3.0 auto.

You may have a bad idle control valve. If you want to replace fuel pump yourself you will have to remove bed of truck or fuel tank.

1992 Ford Ranger cranks and cranks then starts

Key it on and off 3 or 4 times. If it starts right up, the check ball is stuck, letting the fuel drain back to the tank. Like Tom said, fuel pump. If it were mine I would live with it till the pump started acting up.

I have an 01 Ford ranger just changed the plugs and wires and checked the fuil pressure and it's good but my truck will cut off and want crank back until i spray either into the throttle body

If it's stalling out and starts back up with spraying ether in the TB then this tells me it's losing fuel supply. Hook a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail shrader valve and leave it connected but secure it so it doesn't pose any hazards. Then drive it till it stalls out and see if the pressure has dropped off. Sounds like you may have a failing fuel pump, bad wiring to fuel pump, or failing fuel pump relay that is causing it to work intermediately.

My ford ranger hadn't been started for about six months I put jump leads on and it started straight up after about 30 minutes ticking over it cut out and now wont start just turns over not firing

Several things could cause crank but no start. In my experience the most likely causes would be:
1) Clogged fuel filter
2) Bad fuel pump relay
3) Bad fuel pump.
4) Bad control module
Replace fuel filter first since it needs to be replaced every so often anyways. If still won't start
You can swap fuel pump relay with another same relay in fuse box. Easy way to rule out the relay.
Test fuel pressure. If low or no pressure
Test control module. If good,
Replace fuel pump.
I had same issue with my 2005 Ranger 4.0 several months ago and replacing fuel pump fixed it. Runs great now.

AHHH did you check the fuel filter, 80% of faulty fuel pumps that I have worked on have only been the filter

91 ford ranger 3.0 has fuel and fire wont start

Hopefully, it is just the battery. Try and jump start it to see if that works. If you do jump it successfully, drive it immediately to your preferred auto parts store and have them install a new battery.

If that doesn't work, there could be an issue with one of the components of the ignition system (ignition coil, distributor, etc). A problem here could prevent enough energy being transferred to the spark plug to ignite the engine. If it isn't the battery, then you should have it towed in to a mechanic.

My 92 ranger wont start it turns over easy and the timing belt isnt broken it has spark and gas,new fuel filter. fuel pump is runnig. could the timing belt have stretched and jumped time?

It could have stripped out the cogs on the belt, and is just setting in one spot,or the belt has jumped .Just replace the timing belt,if this is the case,no harm done on this engine, just the timing belt.

TWO DAYS AGO 94 RANGER (4 CYL) SOHC...STOPPED ON ROAD. CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START. HAS FUEL PRESSURE. CHANGED FUEL FILTER. CHANGED AIR FILTER. CHANGED ONE OF THE DISTRIBUTOR COILS...TWO SPARK WIRES WERE NOT...

If all the coils are giving spark now, then you moat likely have gas fouled plugs now,so change them out with new ones, all 8 of them.If you do not have spark on all plug wires, pull the timing belt cover, and align the cam shaft and the cam,to see if the belt has jumped. If It hasn`t,replace the crankshaft sensor.

Engine will not turn over. It will crank but

sounds like a problem I had on a 99 ford ranger. I had fuel, spark and all the essentials needed for it to start but it wouldnt, but it cranked over good. It turned out to be the crank shaft sensor. Mine just had moisture in it so I shot it with wd-40 (displaces moisture) and its running today.

2001 ford ranger after it sits for a few hours it

No not the fuel pump. You most likely need to do a tune uo. New spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter. Deffinently change out the spark plugs. I would suggest using autocraft, autolite (fords brand} or some densos or ngk for better performance. Hope this solves your problem.
