My 1999 chevy cavalier ran hot.after it cooled down i tried to crank it,but it just turned over and would not crank. could it have something to do with the fuel cut off device?

no i could not start the car, and yes coolant did overflow, but it did not drench the car.

Could you start the car when it was hot? And did the coolent drench the car once it overflowed?

You may have seized the engine how ho did it get If your car is overheating and you don't shut it down Immediately or at least turn on the heater to draw the heat from the engine it will seize

My 92 Chevy Cavalier ran hot and then after it cools down it wouldn't start back up what's the problem

You don't say what engine is in the vehicle; I will assume it is the 2.2L.
You also don't say how hot the engine got or how long the engine was run while hot. My best guess about the no-start condition would be that due to the overheating you cracked the aluminum cylinder head and as a result have lost compression in the cylinders.

The 'theft system' light does not turn off with the key in the run position on my 1999 chevy cavalier. car won't start, it won't even crank over. the battery and the starter are brand

try locking your car with the key and unlocking it with the key, leave it for 30 second or so between the locking and unlocking , the car thinks some one has tampered with it

1999 chevy malibu, stalls, no restart after getting to running temperture. fuel ok, cranks but misfires when hot. cools down and starts. runs good cold. crank sensors ok

Sounds to be a bad ignition module or one of the coil packs. Will need a scan tool to know what cylinder (s) are misfiring in order to narrow it down.

1999 Chevy Cavalier A/C blows hot air

More likely the recharge blew a o-ring and you have a leak. When your Cavalier was blowing hot air and a recharge fixed it that means it was low on freon which lets o-rings dry out, go back to the shop and have them leak test it. They use a pressurized dye to find the problem. If it's blowing it's not the cooling fan relay, they may have meant compressor relay but I'd have a leak test done first it's not expensive and easier that chasing unknown possibilities.
