You need to have it reset by dealer or someone who has OBII scanner (fault scanner) Autozone, Advance & other auto parts stores can do it for you.

Hi,
the air con should be cooling air almost immediatel upon being turned on.
It will produce colder air at lower blower speeds, due to less airflow over the cooling matrix / heat exchanger.
Quick check, have the engine at operating temp, open the bonnet / hood, drape a blanket or similar over the front end. Make sure it cannot get pulled / dropped into the engine. Start the vehicle, close all doors and windows, (your at the controls) turn the A'C on, and run it on low for a minute, then gradually increase blower speed. Within a few minutes it should be cranking out COLD air, not cool air. The blanket draping the front reduces the air flow, and makes the A/C fans kick in quickly.
All late model vehicles fitted with A/C start cooling almost immediately, and unless parked in the sun all day, reduce interior temps very quickly. Why would one buy a vehicle with A/C that only became useful when driving? Yes, the airflow through the A/C heat exchanger / condenser will increase / decrease when driving, but that's why modern vehicle engines have a relatively high idle, to ensure that the A/C doesn't 'bog' the engine down and the A/C system will function as designed,
Do not let the vehicle run for an excessive length of time with the front end shrouded.
I would recommend, that if you really wished to purchase the vehicle, have a proficient A/C shop check it out, or take it to a dealership and have them check it.
Good luck:;))

looked in my bible and i cannot find this number but the later models are all under the passenger side dash behind the glove box but some are showing in the middle of the bulkhead under the wiper mechanism ,hope this helps
My best advice is to call Enterprise for a rental car if you need transportation until the car is fixed. They will deliver a usable car to your residence.
There is no oil that is better than another for a leak. Some oils are slightly thicker, but not enough to matter. With oil at $3 to $4 a quart, it will take $20 just to drive a short way. That $20 could go towards a tow truck instead.
Then if you destroy the engine, it will cost thousands to fix or replace. Best to tow it. Now if you have Autoclub or Towing on your car insurance, the tow may be free. It is just not worth risking the engine to try to drive it.
