Remove the rear seat and reach into the truck and use the manual cable release, usually a brightly colored handle near the rear or sides of trunk.

Open the hood and use jump start points to provide power, then hit trunk release in the car or on your remote.

Where can I find the fuse?

Not sure what fuse you are looking for or what car you are working on. Most modern vehicles have a fuse box under the dash, another under the hood, some have one under the rear seat (BMW) some have one in the trunk on the rear seat back, some have one in the glove box, some have one on the driver's side of the dash.

For 2000 bmw 323i the fuse box under the hood . What are these fuses for? I'm getting a short I don't know what burning the fuse

All BMW's have spare fuses near or in the fuse box, so they are not in any circuit, only the ones in a row or two are actively protecting from shorts. If you are having a problem with a specific circuit all BMW's have fuse chart in cover of fuse boxes, whether under dash or in trunk area, so if you have a short, check the fuse for that circuit. There are too many fuses to guess at.

How to repair bmw

You don't say what series BMW you are asking about but as a general rule there is a fuse box close to the firewall on the drivers side. On some models there are fuses under the back seat, again on the left side of the car. For a lighter it is probably a green (30 amp) fuse. Also the owners manual provides the fuse box location. Good luck.

Where is thelocation of fuse box

Hi Lorrainesd

there are 4 fuse boxes on this car, 2 in the trunk/boot as you look at the car from the rear the fuse box in behind a panel on the right hand side, the other fues box is in the glove box open glove box look up and you should see some largish screws turn them anti clockwise and the fuse box will drop down, the other one is under the hood/bonnet, this will depend on if its a left or right hand drive, it will be in a box either on the left or the right side of the car under hood/bonnet
hope that helps

Where is the auxillary fan fuse located on 1997 bmw 318i?

Auxiliary Cooling Fan Circuit Fuses
Fuse 16 is 5 amps located in front power distribution box under hood, drivers side near rear of engine compartment.

Fuse 41 (ex. M44 w/man. trans) is 30 amp (probably not your car) in front power distribution box

Fuse 48 (M44 w/man. trans only) is 40 amp (The auxiliary fuse box in trunk for E36 is on the right side of trunk behind the trim panel.)

Radio wont run on

Check your fuses in the under hood fuse box, more than likely the Radio fuse is located under the hood or in the trunk fuse box. Check and replace as necessary, if it's not something simple then take it to the dealership.
