Did they check the fuel flow ?, a blocked fuel filter can give a good fuel pressure reading but little or no flow , and cause the problem you are having.

The crankshaft position sensor was seriously problematic in those old jeeps. It's located towards the top of the bell housing slightly to the driver's side I think.

My starex van won't start. The model is 2006 CRDi, automatic diesel. I'm so happy with the performance until I experienced that it was difficult to start it. But once its running, it runs pr

My friend had a similar problem. When he had it checked, he was told to spray staring fluid on the air filter and it started. So, he was told that if it starts by spraying starting fluid on the air filter, the problem is with the fuel pump. If not, the problem is electrical. So far, my friends starex diesel AT is running smoothly. Hope this will help you. Cheers.

When this stall or fails to start occurs have a pressure gage hooked up to the fuel injection pressure test port (top of engine in the pipe that supplies the fuel to injectors) and see if you are losing fuel pressure.

ISUZU TROOPER 3L injectors, what oil pressure do they require to make them work

at cranking the oil pressure has to be approx 5 mPa before they start to work electrically also, oil pressure at rail varies from 4 to 28 mPa. on Tech2 scanner in data list rail oil pressure should be close to desired and when engine not running sensor should read 0 - 0.2 mPa if higher or a negative value when engine not running this indicates problem with rail oil pressure sensor which is a common problem.

Where is the valve located to check for fuel pressure on 93 Troop

If yours has that valve it should be on the fuel rail (looks like an a/c charge port), you don't just press to see if there is fuel. you need to put a gauge on the fitting and read actual pressure (10lbs will squirt, but can you tell the difference between 10 and 35lbs?)
