Refrigerant pressures are relevent to ambient temperature so the higher the outside temp the higher the pressures. Use this as a guide 70 deg.fahrenheight Low side 30-40 lbs. High side 150-200 lbs. at compressor turn off point with cooling fan running. I hope this helps. Take care.

SOURCE: Looking for low pressure port for servicing Freon

The ports on my 2005 silverado are on the same line, which is very confusing but, in between the two ports is the metering device (orifice) which changes the high pressure gas into a low pressure gas.The two ports are of a different size, with the low pressure being the smaller of the two. You can put your hand on the line, on each side of the metering device connection and the high side will be hot and the low side will be cold

SOURCE: Where is the ac low pressure side port on 1997 Cougar

Its on the Passenger side of the engine bay between the strut tower and the valve cover. It should have a blue cap on it, or maybe a black cap. Follow the ac line coming out of the back of the compressor and youll see it.

Where is the low pressure port ?

That port would be located at the rear of the passenger side fender well under the hood. It's kind of against the firewall. Be carefull of moving parts as the front of the engine is right there. Good luck

Where is the charge port on a 2001 ford expidition front and rear a.c. unit with a 4.6 ltr auto. trans.

the rear a/c unit uses the same a/c charge ports that the front unit uses, check freon pressures, low side should be between 35-45 psi. high side pressure should be from 225-250 psi. if pressures are within range then the most likely cause would be one of two most common problems and they are 1. rear orifice tube is restricted with debris. 2. rear temperature control (mode door) motor or actuator is inoperative.

Where is the intake port for freon in 2000 ford expedition

The AC is charged with R134 refrigerant through the low pressure side of the system, the charging port is on the Accumulator/Receiver Dryer, this is a round canister under the hood on the drivers side near the rear of the engine bay. Below is a picture of the Accumulator so you can ID it.

A/C pressures

42-45 low side and 200 high side would be nice but the heat being like it is look far 250 to275 and that is pushing it...if the low side service port is like 2 feet away from high side(whitch i think it is on this year) your low side could reach about 52 ,so this wold be normal

Re-charge a/c in a 98 ford escort zx2

Your low side should have a "blue cap" on it. If it does not, it is located on the passenger side of the vehicle near the firewall.
