You can change the battery in the remote. Or, sometimes, if you press the remote real hard where the battery is located, it will work. Usually they have a bad solder joint holding the battery. Hope this helps.
Do you have problems with it, please forward more info regarding your problem. The switch is nomaly on the side of the box where the levers are, some is connected via a cable and will be at a remote location. Follow the cable or link and you will find it.
If it is a built in system, which is sounds like it is. Your XM receiver is not functioning correctly. I believe a replacement XM receiver is covered under your warranty if you have one with your Honda dealership.
There should be a pair of thin metal tabs along the side of the body of the lighter housing. These need to be gently pulled away so that they click underneath the console when inserted.
