We replaced the bearing hub assemblies on my 05 Ford Explorer (Eddie Bauer, 4WD) Within about 18 miles, the right rear bearing is all but shredded - left side is fine. What is causing this?

Did you clean the mounting surfaces to make sure the hub is running absolutely straight? If yes you probably have a defective bearing return it.

Front brake rotor removal 94 Eddie Bauer explorer4/4

remove the wheel-remove the brake calliper-- the rotor will be held on by the wheel or will have counter sunk screws that you will have to remove. Check with the new rotor first as it may be a complete hub assembly in which case the whole hub has to come off or be replaced.

105000 miles scheduled maintenance NOT: it is my first time to make a maintenance after buying it from the old owner though don't have any idea what he did before.

Hello
What you should do is replace all fluids, oil, trans, coolant, rear or rears if it is 4wd and transfer case if 4wd.Air,gas,oil filters spark plugs and spark plug wires. You should be good to go after that provided there is no mechanical probs. good luck with your new truck. John

How often do I need to get my oil changed in my 2007 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer?

Well, that is a matter of opinion. I really prefer every 2500 miles. Your oil becomes contaminated unless FULLY heated up on every use. Oil can last a really long time, but failure in the oiling costs soooo much to repair, I just change more often. Perhaps costs less than a shrink....
