Hi,
modern cars have plug and play technology. There is a transmitter attached to the gearbox that sends a signal to the electronic speedo. The speedo is plugged into a wiring harness that is at the rear of the speedo quadrant. This is where you either start pulling things apart, or take it to an instrument technician.
Speedo cable probably snapped usually gearbox end you need to diconect see if broken

it means its due for service. If u wanna get rid of it without servicing the vehicle then as you start the car simultaneously push the ODOMETER reset button on the dash and it will wipe it. This will however just delay the point your car needs servicing.

The Fuel Pump is Inside the Fuel Tank. You will need to Trop the Fuel tank for this. Not an Easy Job by any Means.

There should be a cable that runs from the back of your speedometer to the transmission. If you look on the engines side of the firewall you should be able to track it....it is one of very few cables that run into the transmission. NOTE: its a little thicker than most. At the transmission there will be a fastener of some sort holding it in. Unscrew it and check the end of the cable. If all seems well try attaching a drill to that end and have a buddy look at the gage to see if it shows speed when the drill is running ...if not then its either broken in the middle somewhere or came unhooked from behind the guage....if it does show speed then it was either not seated correctly to the transmission or the plastic tip (looks like plastic gear) on the transmission side of the cable it worn down too far. That tip is interchangeable for if you get bigger/smaller tires.
