Power brake booster may have failed or worn out. Have system inspected by a good mechanic.

open the rear hatch. Between the tail light housing and the rear hatch opening there is a trim strip with two flush fitted flap doors. Insert a small straight blade screwdriver into the small slot on the tail light side of the flap. Pry gently inboard and the small flap will open (the hinge side of the flap is on the side of the rear hatch opening.) Now you can remove the screws that hold the tail lamp assembly in place. Finally, there is still a "spear point" clip that fits into a socket near the front outboard corner of the assembly. Gently pry with a tape wrapped screwdriver (avoids scratches) and force the assembly straight back. The clip should release and free the assembly so you can change the bulb(s).

SOURCE: emergency brake adjustment 2000 Honda Odyssey

on the back side of the wheel, there is a thin metal plate. on this plate, there is a rubber plug in a fairly small hole. remove the plug, and just inside, there should be the teeth of an adjuster start wheel visible. turn the star wheel until the drum is tight on the shoes. then, turn the start wheel back, approximately 10 teeth. test and repeat as necessary.

SOURCE: 2001 ford expedition, rear brake burning smell

i see alot of bad calipers on these in the rear! so when you get the wheels off and take a look at the pads one side should have alot more wear than the other and that will be the trouble side. when you have the caliper off and the pads off. try depressing the caliper piston and if it don't move open the bleed with presure still applied to the piston and if the piston goes in after you open the bleeder then you have a bad rubber brake hose and if it don't than your caliper is bad. also if the piston goes in from the begging then you may have a defective pad and it wore faster witch may cause the piston to get jammed because it's at it's full excursion.

if you have any more question please ask. good luck

SOURCE: 2007 honda odyssey has smell in a/c vents after

With the A/C on you should notice the condensation dripping out from under the van, after its been on a while. If its having trouble draining find the drain and open it up more. The condensate could be getting on the fan motor. Its electric.

2007 Honda Odyssey turns over good but won't start. Smelled a burning smell a few times. What could be wrong?

Hi Lori:
I'd start by checking for spark. If you don't have any, the burning smell would probably translate into an ignition wire that had failed.
Reply as a COMMENT to this post if you don't have spark and need coaching in tracing the problem.
Cheers.

Burning smell

Hehe...Well, unfortunately without smelling it, or looking at the vehicle, there's not much I can do for you here. Check underneath for oil leaks getting onto the hot exhaust, or maybe a plastic bag stuck to exhaust, etc. Good luck.

2003 honda odyssey - right rear wheel rim gets hot when driving, some slight rolling noise also from wheel, just started. 50K miles on original factory brakes. New tires last year. Stuck e brake or bearing...

To cofirm a stuck e-brake jack up that wheel and apply e-brake then release and see if the wheel will turn freely if not the e-brake cable must be replaced, the brake shoes or pads must be checked for wear also for a temperary remedy spray liqiud wrench all along the length especially at the upper end and work the cable with your hand back and forth to free up the cable, once freed up avoid applying the e-brake until the replacement is complete.

96 Honda Odyssey brake trouble

I'm pretty sure that vehicle will have a vacuum booster for brake assist and it may be failing or you may have cracked or loose vacuum line.
Another possibility is a defective vacuum reservoir; a canister device, sometimes metal, sometimes plastic that supplies a bit of vacuum in case the engine shuts down.

Normally mounted on the firewall under the hood, the booster shouldn't be tough to replace and appears to be a metal drum, often with the master cylinder assembly directly attached.

Checking the operation of the power brake assist is easy; with the engine off, press firmly on the brake pedal and note whether it sinks noticeably when you start the engine.
If it does, then the vacuum booster is working, if not all the time.
Considering the random nature of the problem, I would try this several times to see if the resulting drop in pedal height is constant or not.
