Is there spark? Check if all the plugs are firing. Is there fuel? Check the fuel rail value and see if there is pressure.

SOURCE: my 94 ford explorer 4.0 cranks but wont start. i have 38lbs of fuel at rail port and spark at wire. it also runs on etherfor a hot second. what else can i try?

Check your injector circuit. It will also let you know if the PCM is allowing the injectors to energize. Here's how:
Pull off one injector connector. Turn key to on. Use a test light and clip the black lead of tester to ground, Use the tester's probe to probe both wires in the injector connector. One of the wires should have power and light the testlight, meaning the injector power circuit is working. Now for the injector ground circuit.
Move the black lead of testlight to the battery positive post. Now probe the wire in the connector that did not light up. Have someone crank the car over. When cranking the test light SHOULD be blinking, meaning the PCM is properly grounding the injectors to work. If both wires passed the test, your injector circuit is good.
If it's not working, either the power circuit from ignition switch to injectors is out (no steady light), or the ground circuit from injectors to PCM is not working (no blinking light).
Good luck, post back with results for further assistance.

Have you checked your compression? An engine needs 3 things to run, air/fuel, spark, & compression happening at the correct time.

My 2011 rzr runs for about 10 minutes and bogs down and then fully shuts off any tips?

Check the fuel system first. There may be an obstruction in the tank or fuel line. When it shuts down, does it restart right away or does it take a while for it to restart.? If it takes a while before it restarts, try using a starter fluid to see if it starts. If it does, then clean the fuel system. If it will still not start, disconnect the spark plug wire and see if you are getting a spark to the spark plug.

1996 honda will not start under 60 degrees

tune it up. (fresh spark parts work best in cold and for sure damp wheather.
fresh gas?
leaking injectors?
isc stuck closed, and rpm low, hot?

the ecu, anticipates the next cold start,
it knows how much to open the iSC valve, to get a good start cold
and if colder to day, it opens more. (math)
if it (ISC) is gummed up,fas all do, it cant start right
so next time, try %10 throttle, starting, emulating a good ISC.
see?

2004 Chevrolet Malibu mix v6 LS engine turns but will not start

Check for fuel, spark, and then compression. Fuel problems can be pump, pump relay, fuse, filter, line, etc. Spark problems can be distributor module, distributor, coil packs, power to distributor or coil packs, plug wires. Compression problems would be piston rings, piston walls, piston rods.

1997 avalon wont start fuel pump when key is turned to "on" position and hencar wont start. Also, the car wont start when the fuel pump is hard wired to stay on. Any ideas

There are still many possibilities. The internal combustion engine is a complex mechanism. The timing could be off. All spark plugs must be firing. They must fire at exactly top dead center. The timing chain/belt must be in good working order, not worn or stretched. The cam shaft must not be worn out so the valves open and close correctly. the valve lifters must be working properly. the cylinder heads must have the same correct compression. A different compression indicates bad valves or head gasket. Piston rings must not be worn out or they will not provide adequate compression. the oil pump must circulate the oil to lubricate everything, and provide fluid for hydraulic lifters. Oil and filters must be clean and the correct type for engine and climate.

No#1 cylinder is missing (sr20de+T p11 primera) high tensions leads are fine, new plugs, new fuel filter, all injectors are still pulsing, fuel pump is working fine no blockages, timing is set to +5* which...

Find out if No. 1 cylinder has compression by doing a cylinder compression test. If compression is good, then swap spark plug and wire with No.2 to see if missing follows. If the missing follows then you know the plug or wire is bad.

If compression is bad, then you know you have a burned valve, a broken ring, a cracked piston, or some other problem.

ENGINE WENT OUT

 CAR WILL NOT START?
There are some possibilities which you will have to check in this case:--
1) First of all check the power and voltage to the battery.with meter it will show exact 12 volt if the battery is charged.if the voltage is less get the battery charged at local auto repair shop.if the battery is internally drained and not getting charged then its time to replace the battery.
2) When you crank the car do you see spark coming at the spark plug? if no then its time to check the spark plugs and coil pack.if the spark plugs are not worn out and looks new then its time to check coil pack.the spark plugs gets power to spark from coil pack.
3) The other thing to check in this case is the starter solenoid of the car.if the battery is charged and you start the car then it gives power to the starter to start the car.but if starter is faulty or not connected properly then car will not start.
4) The other thing to check in this case is fuel in the car.if there is fuel in the car  then check the blockages in the fuel pump if the fuel pump looks proper then check the fuel filter above the fuel pump.
5) If all the above possibilities mentioned above checked out OK/perfect then its a electrical issue and the wiring's in the car needs to be checked.the car gets power from the battery to get started.so the wires from battery needs to be checked one by one.
But if you are confirmed that engine went out and its not any other problem then engine needs to be replaced.

This parts needs to be replaced in Engine
gasket set, set of pistons and rings, main bearings, rod bearings, thrust washers, timing belt, balance shaft bearings (if applicable), and a set of expansion plugs . Pistons & Rings: Std., .020, .040. Bearings: Std., 10, 20, 30.oil pump.timing kit.etc etc,,.
Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

HELP! I have a 95 gmc 4x4... sank it underwater. replaced fuel pump assembly, distributer cap, rotor, and spark module, ignition switch, computer, fuel pump relay, plugs, and wires. had only 80 psi...

the starter could be too close to the flywheel. try adding a couple of starter shims. it also could be drawing to many amps from internal corrosion from water intrusion.
