I rebuilt my 1970 FLH and am having a problem with a oil drip. I ran the scoot for a little while and when I put her on the kickstand, it dripped oil from the vent pipe at about a drip per second.Help

It has never did that in 44 years that I have owned it. What could cause this??

I'm sure you did a fine rebuild Brother, and I doubt much you set the oil breather timing a tooth out, but it's worth checking. About the only thing left to do to help get more air out and plenty of oil is, is to enlarge the size of the oil timing hole the full size of the timing screen. But that needs done before assembly. I know these early shovels well and even have a "69 108 cid I built a lot of years back. I've never had any problem getting the pressure out that cause by the pistons going down.

My 1996 Toyota Camry is leaking oil in little spots on the ground when its parked, where could it be leaking from and how can i fix it?

You cannot repair the leak until you determine where it is leaking. More than likely it is leaking from the oil filter, oil pressure sending unit, or valve cover gasket. Check around the oil filter for a leaks and if you see oil on the filter then replace it. Check the oil pressure sending unit and if it is leaking replace it. Wipe all the oil off the bottom of the engine and any other place you see oil. Now place newspapers on the floor under the car and then start the engine and let it run for about 10 minutes and then shut down. Wait overnight and you can see where the leak is coming from.

Trailblazer 2002, trans vent hose discharges some oil

This is not an issue, if the transmission was even a little bit over full, or got pretty warm pulling something it will blow a little out the vent. It's going to continue to drip until the excess oil is gone, but it won't hurt anything, other than staining your concrete.

There is a special dye you can purchase. You pour it into your oil let it run for a little bit and have it sit over night. Then you check it with a black light and it will glow blue or purple from where your initial leak is coming from. good luck.
