SOURCE: For 2001 Forrester Subaru - Front Windshield Washer fuse

If it makes noise, it's not the fuse. Most likely the discharge nozzles are stopped up. Try blowing compressed air into them from the outside.

SOURCE: My 2009 Subaru Forrester LL Bean edition will not start. There are no interior light or dashboard lights. When trying start it there is complete silence.

Check the battery cables, is there any sign of battery acid damage or intrusion? Is the main power distribution box hot (has power to it)?

Adjusting headlamp on a 2009 Subaru forester

E: ADJUSTMENT
1. HEADLIGHT BEAM ADJUSTMENT
CAUTION:
Turn off the light before adjusting the headlight beam level. If it is necessary to inspect the beam level, do not keep the light on for two min- utes or more.
NOTE:
Before checking the headlight beam level, be sure of the following:
• Check the area around the headlight for any scratches, damage or other types of deformation.
• Make sure that the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
• Make sure that the inflation pressure of tires are correct.
• Make sure that the vehicle fuel tank is full.
1) Bounce the vehicle two to three times to normal- ize the suspension.
2) Make certain that someone is seated in the driv- er's seat.
3) Measure the distance between the low beam bulb centers, and the height of the bulb center

2008 Subaru Forrester ... clutch bite point has come up to top of pedal push. Can I adjust this lower or is it the sign of clutch wearing out?

It is possible that 'Yes' the clutch is going. Normally in most modern cars the PEDAL can be adjusted a small amount inside the car but the BITE cannot! The whole system is hydraulic and self adjusting. The only parts that can be altered are inside the transmission case. Basically you have to drop the gearbox off to do anything and replacing a clutch Involves basically the same work.

Why does only one front tire spln in snow when crossing a highway?with a subaru forrester 2009 2.5 touring AWD

the wheels that loose traction will spin and the ones that grab will move the car. some newer automatic transmission subaru's are fwd bias and will normally send more power to the front wheels to help save fuel

My 2009 manual subaru forrester will not shift in reverse

Assuming you can press the clutch and EASILY select fwd gears, then I'd suspect either
* the linkage from the gear stick to the transmission is being jammed / obstructed by something under the car.
* something in the center console is jamming the stick getting in to reverse.

If you can't easily select fwd gears, check the clutch slave and master cylinders.

2007 Forrester - headlight bulb good but not lighting

You will need to look at the plug for the headlight. If it looks good, I would look for the headlight low beam fuse.
