Where is the location of the fuel temperature sensor on a 1997 nissan truck??????

The Temperature sensor is part of the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
To replace the FTS (fuel Temperature Senor) you have to replace the entire FPR Assembly as well.
The FPR Assembly is located in the engine bay on your truck.
Yours may look whitish color or tarnished. this is due to being weathered.
Hope this helps you out.

1998 nissan maxima runs hot, replaced the thermostat and at times gauge still register hot, what else could cause this?

Its possible that your problem also stay in the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor resistance changes in response to engine coolant temperature.

Keep in mindthat the sensor resistance decreases as coolant temperature increases. This provides a reference signal, which indicates engine coolant temperature, to the ECM.

1997 nissan p/u IAT sensor malfunction code i have replaced the sensor and it is still tripping the code and i have cleared the codes

Both wires to the sensor will have to be traced to see if they are shorted or broken. One wire comes from the computer and with the key on should show 5V when grounded. the other wire returns to the computer--it should not have continuity to ground. The computer sends 5V to the IAT which is a variable resister. The return voltage tells the computer the temperature of the air. If either signal is missing,(5V outgoing or return voltage), the code will set.

Where is the intake air temperature located on a 1997 Nissan 4X4 hardbody pickup 4 cylinder?

The intake air temp sensor is a common issues on the '97, but I don't really know why. Look underneath the air intake box where the filter is housed. You'll see a harness, and a bulb-like device going inside the air box, that is the sensor. You can get one from your local auto parts store. I hope that you have found this information useful.

Intake air temp circuit

I have a '95 2.4L pickup, and the intake air temperature sensor is mounted (from the bottom) in the air cleaner housing. If you take the top off, lift out the air filter, you will see the sensor top in the circular plate surrounding the throttle body. On mine, one of the two wires running to the sensor was broken. I spliced the wire, and the problem was solved.

Mass air flow sensor

maf sensors identify the amount of air flow flowing in the intake. the sensor works with the throttle so it knows how much air is coming in to add the proper amount of fuel to mix with the air. Easy to pull and replace.
