Do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop . Without testing we'd only be guessing , just like you .

Don't have to ,i know how to fix cars . Have thirty years experience . I don't need to go on a web site to find answers . If your asking if you need a fuel ,you don't know how to test automotive electrical circuit's an you probably don't know it is controlled by the PCM - engine computer . The PCM energizes a relay to send Battery voltage to the fuel pump . You also probably have no clue as to what a wiring diagram is or how to use A DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter to test electrical circuits ???????? Or how to do voltage drop testing on the fuel pump electrical circuit . So any thing i would say to you would probably go right over the top of you head . That's why you should stop trying to play automotive technician . Let a pro handle it.

It take years of training to fix automotive electrical system correctly . Their are no magical fixes , it takes a qualified technician .

SOURCE: 06 pt crusier wont start

fuel pump has`a`cut-off switch that needs to be reset. Two most common locations are in the trunk on the sides, or on the passenger side kickplate under the glovebox on the right side of the inside passengers right foot.

SOURCE: 2002 PT Cruiser fuel pump and filter

FUEL PUMP IS LOCATED IN FUEL TANK..FILTER IS LOCATED ON TOP OF PUMP MODULE..A NEW PUMP WILL NORMALLY COME WITH THIS FILTER..YOU MUST REMOVE FUEL TANK FROM VEHICLE TO REPLACE THESE COMPONENTS..IF YOUR NOT SURE YOU CAN DO THIS,I WOULD TALK TO A REPAIR SHOP..FUEL CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS

SOURCE: where is the fuel pump relay on a 06 pt cruiser

I do not see a specific fuel pump relay on this vehicle.. The auto shutdown relay however is located on the drivers side firewall right below the windshield. If you are standing at the drivers side fender.. look toward the engine and it will be on your right hand side.. Hope this helps.. There is a starter relay in this location too...The ASD relay will be on the right hand side..

SOURCE: 2005 pt cruiser won't start won't crank, everything works

When you turn the key on the ASD relay should turn on the fuel pump and power the injector, Do this lets cheat the system go to the ASD rely open the cover expose the inside have some one turn the key on does the ASD make contact? If not turn the key on collpase the ASD so it make contact do you hear the fuel pump come on? Now try this just as how you iopen the ASD do the same to the starter relay. Put the car in gear e brake on someone in the vehicle in case the car start and you are in front of it and it runs you over so at least they step on the brakes. Key on ASD exposed as your collapse the starter relay does the ASD relay turn on? Here why if you can control all the relay from under the hood you will need a ignition switch (the eletrical part)

My 2003 PT CRuiser turns over to start but won't

I would start by checking fuel pressure with a gauge, and scanning the computer for trouble codes.
Low fuel pressure or a problem with the pump could cause the issue, as well as sensors such as the throttle position or engine temp sensor.

Where is the fuel pump fuse on a 2006 pt cruiser

There is no separate fuse for the fuel pump on the '06 and later PT Cruisers. If you're attempting to do something that require the engine to turn over, e.g. a compression test, use a manual remote starter connected between the starter solenoid and the positive battery terminal. The fuel pump won't be active with the ignition turned off.

Engine turns over but will not start

the fuel pump may be bad but it may also may be a bad ecm(computer) if you dont hear the fuel pump engaging then its not running first id try a fuel pump relay to be on the safe side and not to be changing unessacery parts if you can get the vehicle to auto-zone or you know some one with a code reader this will give you a more accurate picture and an idea as to where to start.
