How does the exhaust look. White rich of a fuel smell??? Or look normal. Does you exhaust raddle noticably. That can indicate a fuel injector stuck open.

It sounds like an issue with the vacuum advance. The timing is not catching up to the acceleration.

Have you checked your ingition coil it is probably cracked and arking. Use a spark plugs and tester to confirm. The spark should be bright. If it is dim from the wire to the ingition coil. You have a bad coil.

Testimonial: "wasnt cracked, replaced it anyways. still doing it although slight improvement in how its running. What about poor ground wire for electrical?"

2000 dodge caravan sputters and dies when comming to stop restarts ok takes back off untill you stop again

You will have to check the MAP sensor. It's like the o2 sensor. It's the reason our 2000 Caravan had issues for dying and some acceleration probs. New wires and plugs will help, too.

2006 Dodge Caravan Sputtering. Code says EGR Valve. Would an EGR valve cause the van to sputter and run rough?

Absolutely. You'll know if your EGR valve is stuck or malfunctioning because your car will experience symptoms like rough idle and bucking on acceleration.

On the highway at higher speeds the car starts to sputter then the ses light which is on already starts to flash, but if you let of the gas then ease the gas once again you are able to accelerate. Only...

you have an engine miss, any time the check engine light starts flashing the engine is missing, should be an easy fix sounds like either a bad spark plug or a bad plug wire if you have the codes checked there should be a code telling you what cylinder is missing, but if i were you i would tune up the engine all new plugs and wires and filters......GOOD LUCK

1998 Dodge Grand Caravan just losses power when running

when was the last time it was tuned up?
you need to check the air filter, and check the throttle body for black soot deposits.when you are pushing on the gas pedal you are giving the engine more air not fuel, your vehicle is fuel injected ,
