Honda city S 2009. Regularly serviced by Honda. The car jerks quite regular now and it’s stronger then a year ago. The fuel tank filter was changed recently. Jerks at low speed and at idle.

I think I would check the spark plug wires and the connection to boot. Check fuel filter.

HAVE YOU EVER SERVICED THE FUEL FILTER ? EVERY 30,000 MILES ,"DEFINE JERKING REAL BAD" IS IT A STICK SHIFT? ANY OIL LEAKS COULD BE GETTING ON CLUTCH. AND CHECK ING SYSTEM COULD HAVE SPARK JUMPING

Keep the serpintine belt, oil/oil filter, air filter, gas filter and transmission fluid/filter changed regularly. At 84k, check the brakes (front and back). I would look at changing the spark plugs as well. If it is running good, you want to keep it that way...good luck

You'll need to do maintenance check on a regular basis. Basics for that is that on city driving, you change oil every 3 months or 3,000 kilometers. Regularly check the radiator fluid to avoid overheating and lastly... you have the wheels balanced and aligned (camber alignment) whenever you feel a wiggle or when the car starts favoring the right over the left.. almost forgot, brake fluid every year to rid of the moisture that could have accumulated from the lines.
