SOURCE: Venture van power door problem

It sounds as though one of the proximity sensors is faulty. Also try giving the tracks for the door a good shot of white spray lithium grease. The door may be binding enough so that the emergency reverse is kicking in.

Hood latch

Try spraying the latch mechanism with WD-40 or similar light oil and operating the release cable a number of times. Check the condition of the release cable if nothing happens. The latch itself may have a broken spring due to the low temps.

The heater quit working in my 2003 dakota 3.9 liter v6. A liitle heat comes out, but not much even with the gauge turned on high. Fuses in truck look good, coolant level good. Where is the location of the...

The control valve could be damaged or you could have a blockage in the heater core. Locate the valve in the engine compartment and watch it while someone inside the truck moves the heater lever back and forth. You want to verify that the valve is moving to open and close the pipe into the heater core. If that checks out ok, try to flush the heater core.
