SOURCE: 2000 grand prix leaking on drivers side floor board

I have a 99 Grand Prix that had the same problem. There is a rubber gasket that has probably come loose that is under the plastic air inlet grille. This grille is up against the windshield and the wiper go through mine in my 1999. Remove this grille and you should see a water deflector that has come loose. Use some silcone to secure it back in place and that should stop the water problem.

SOURCE: Rainwater Leak (2001 Stratus SE)

Check at the bottom of the door there is a hole(****) out side the seal that is suppose to let the water out when it rains, it is probably clogged with leaves or debris. It is hard to see. i had the same problem.

SOURCE: Pontiac Grand Prix Drivers side window won't go down

Most often on those the motors are shot. as soon as they are activated they overheat and slow down or stop. Only way I know of to repair is to replace them. You will need a manual to do this or do them one at a time so you can check how it goes back together by looking at other one. Motors are riveted in and need to be drilled to remove...use small bolts to re-attach.
I've seen motors online for about $30-40 each.

SOURCE: driver side mirror 2004 Pontiac Grand Am

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

My 1994 Pontiac Grand AM SS has the keys locked inside in the ignition. Please advise how to handle this problem.

The fastest way to solve this is to call a tow truck, virtually all drivers now carry tools that will open doors-but you can do this with a hanger-carefully go through the door seal and try to touch the door power door lock switch, it is not as difficult as you might think (especially with a spotter from the other side of the car)>

Underneath driver side floor mat is damp. I don't

if it is slippery and stinky, your heater core is leaking. otherwise you have a leak around your windshield and rainwater is coming in and not drying out as it is under the mat. very hard to track down, get some clear aquarium sealer and get to work.

My gt sunroof leaks. water all over shifter & floor.. only driver side

the rubber seal/surround is either dried out, cracked or damaged. Clean both mating surfaces with glass cleaner & add some type of protectant or even Vaseline. If this still doesnt work, replace the rubber suround

1994 Pontiac Grand Am gets water pooling on the floor even on sunny days-front driver's side. Windshield is fine. No smell or color to the water. Level of water increases the longer it sits.

You need to check under the car for rust holes in the chassis or up under the door sills or wheel wells. Its that or a chassis seal is gone.

1994 pontiac grand prix leaking water

It sounds like either the heater valve which may be located inline with a 5/8" hose or 3/4" hose or the heater core is leaking, a heater core is like a small radiator.
