Have the GEM module scanned to verify proper operation.

Doublecheck your battery voltage with the engine running. If it's above about 15V, TURN THE ENGINE OFF and get the regulator replaced! That's a classic symptom of a bad voltage regulator - I've seen it burn out everything on the vehicle - including the ignition.

Try tapping on the 4x4 motor on the transfer case if there is power to it.
