2002 Dodge Caravan driving and flasher issues after upgrading to LEDs.

I have a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan EX. Replaced rear tail/flashers with LEDs, then replaced front flashers/driving lights. Noticed no tail lights but 2 blown L & R flasher fuses. Replaced them and now the L flasher is on but not flashing, regardless of the position of the signal lever. L tail and license plate light functioning now function but not R tail. The hazards work normally. Need to install resistors for hyperflashing signaling. when there was no fuse, blinkers worked; not functioning with a good fuse. With a good fuse, left tail and license plate light works, not without. I'm confused and don't know what to try next.

LED's have resistance than incandescent bulbs, that causes a problem, so best thing to do is get ones that come with the correct resistors.

SOURCE: 2001 ford explorer sport trac

Just found the answer on another site. Sure enough went out removed the 3 philips head screws in the steering column opened it up and walla a wire connection had pulled itself free. When my son uses my truck he always uses the tilt steering, when I get in I have to readjust it. because of this the wire connection pulled itself out. I simply pushed it back in an blinker and brake light are now working. My husband is now trying to figure a way to secure the wire connection so it doesn't pull itself out again. Hope this helps others, either by saving the cost of a dealership or machanic or from getting rear ended.

If you have trouble finding signal flasher, turn your right side blinker on, and follow clicking noise to flasher.

I have a 2000 dodge RAM 1500 when I press the turn signals they blink once and stop working, can anyone give me any advice why

Sounds as if you have a bad flasher, unless you have changed tail lamps to LEDs, which require a special flasher.

Where is located signal flasher

One flasher runs both front and rear, so that is not the problem (I think). May be bad multifunction switch.

1998 dodge grand caravan emergency flashers & turn signals do not work

Sounds like the turn signal flasher (lighting control module). It is used for both the turn signals and the hazard flashers. There is one type for cars with DRL and one for cars without DRL.

Where is the flasher located on a 2008-2010 Dodge Crand Caravan?

Go to Autozone.com, register for free and enter your vehicle information-year, make, model, & engine size. Vehicle-specific repair guides are available, as well as component locations. It should show where to locate the flasher. Usually on older vehicles, the flasher is by itself under the dash. Newer ones often incorporate the turn signal flasher with the hazard flasher.

My 4 way flashers do not work, the button does nothing.

it could be the flasher. (most common)
If the images don't help you, then it could be the flasher button itself.

All light on the car work but the turn signals dont work at all on 2000 dodge grand caravan

Assuming the fuse for the turn signals ia not blown, it sounds like the flasher unit is faulty. most vehicles have separate flashers for 4-ways and directionals so one may work while the other doesn't. Sorry, but don't recall the location of the flasher for that vehicle, but a parts store should be able to look it up for you.

Trailer blinking lights are not working on my boat trailer, is there a separate fuse for the trailer light hook up? I drive a 98 Grand Caravan

If it's wired properly, one thing that does come to mind is to replace standard signal flasher with a HD flasher. (heavy Duty)

TURN SIGNAL

If the passenger side is blinking when you put the signal on, the flasher isn't the problem, as both sides would not operate if the flasher is defective. Did u check the rear bulb? Check the contacts of both the front and rear drivers side, along w/ the bulbs. Clean the contacts w/ fine sandpaper, and coat w/ dielectric grease (available at any parts store), this is specially formulated for elec. systems and will prevent corrosion, which is most likely your problem. Let me know how u do. countrycurt0
