Sounds like computer in emergency mode or you have inadvertently programmed driver door only. Your cars manual tells you how to disengage all doors from drivers door.Try pressing remote twice quick succession if all doors open reprogram to all door mode.

SOURCE: doors won't lock from the remote key or side

Without knowing your vehicle type I would have to say this is most likely a relay issue. The good news is that they're not expensive and they're easy to replace. Look in your owner's manual and it will tell you where under the hood the door lock relay is located. They simply pull out to unplug and push back in to reinstall. Give this a try and see if it doesn't fix the problem for you. Hope this helps, good luck!

I have a Seat Altea and need to know if I will encounter any CPU or alarm problems if I remove the factory fitted Blaupunkt radio entirely from the vehicle?

Radio's don't affect the security. But if installing another factory radio, it has to be programmed to your car. After market radios don't. If using an after market one, you will loose some chimes, like door, key, lights, ect...

Central locking not working seat altea

Is this with the key in the door or with the key fob remote?
Check the basics first. Is the battery in the remote working? If in doubt replace it with a good quality battery.
Next check the fuse. It should be the fuse box under the dashboard, possibly under the steering wheel. I think it's fuses 49, (10 amp-red), and 50, (25 amp-clear/white).
if these are OK it could be one or more of the servo units in the doors at fault.
