Transmission Specialist not Holden - Not requiring transmission replacement, fault codes possible cause as supplied by transmission specialist 1.Lack of proper voltage to the PCM 2.Deflective PCM memory module 3.Defective PCM ground circuit 4.Defective PCM controlled output devices When quizzed Holden service and they couldn't answer or show me anything in detail, ie actual documentation of codes and solutions. Any insight into this would be great, not much online from what I can find. Who do you believe.
You can get guide from many sites.. i know few
error codes/ fault codes, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, torque specs, engine info, switches functioning, assemble, disassembly, complete refurbish, repair, installation every single thing is covered
within seconds u can get the access and it's totally illustrative complete

SOURCE: 4 Faults detected on engine diagnostics check
Try first unplugging battery cable for ten minutuse, to reset ECM, and do a scan again, there are too many unrelated error codes at the same time

I WOULD TRY REPLACING THE INPUT SPEED SENSOR..A DEFECTIVE SPEED SENSOR CAN CAUSE ALL OF THESE FAULTS..IT IS LOCATED IN FRONT OF TRANS ABOVE SOLENOID PACK..IT IS THE ONE CLOSEST TO THE ENGINE..IT SCREWS INTO TO TRANSMISSION..A 1 INCH SOCKET FITS IT..ALSO CHECK WIRING TO BOTH SPEED SENSORS..A SENSOR IS ABOUT 35 BUCKS,AVAILABLE AT YOUR LOCAL DODGE DEALER..GET A NEW ONE AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE..FAIRLY COMMON PROBLEM..HAVE REPLACED LOTS OF THEM
SOURCE: I have a 2005 Dodge Neon and the engine light came
a had the same problem. i am 99.9 percent sure that the wires going to the sensors underneathe the battery box and air intake are broke inside the insulation. Get to where you can see the connectors. remove the tape from both sensor connectors and give the wires a pull each wire done seperately. Mine was an orange wire and a purple wire. It is not noticeable by looking at the wires because it is the copper wire inside the insulation that will be broke. Find the broke ones and splice in new wire and the problem will be fixed.
