Everyone has thier preferrance but ive always used autolites or ngk
NGK --makes great spark plugs, and they offer a wide selection of heat-ranges.

Your likelihood that it was your coil in the first place was slim. First thing to check is your fuel pressure. Not enough fuel pressure, your ECM won't let your coil fire.

Does it have the firing order embossed on the intake manifold?

ND W16EXRU spark plugs also known as "Hot U' plugs. Available at Advance Auto or Auto Zone (not 100% sure on AZ). Inexpensive-- great performance. I used to run an auto repair service. I kept ND plugs in stock for the foreign cars. One day, I ran out of Champions that I used for Mopars and found I could cross ref the ND plugs. I had my tech install them in a (then, fairly new) Dodge Omni. The next day, the guy comes back demanding to know what I did to his car (UH-OH!!). I told him-- just a basic tune up. He said his car got better gas mileage (he delivered papers-- drove about 150 miles a day) and better performance than when it was new! From then on, that's all I put in Mopars and would often get the same positive response. It's all I put in mine!!
