It sounds like the "SCAN" button is hung up. Try hitting the scan button again to turn it off.

SOURCE: Stations dropped

go to refresh.xmradio.com and insert your radio ID and click submit. It will resend the activation signal and should unlock your channels within 15-20 minutes.

You won't find that even at a repair shop

The Data bases won't likely have 2013

Try 2012 from Alldata,Mitchell or Identifix

Actually for this kind of parts, do not recommend you for repair, it is best to replace CD head directly

SOURCE: Radio on 2013 Chrysler 300 keeps changing stations in ascending order

Have you turned off the power to the radio completely? This
can reset the standard operations...(turn radio off while car is on) then back on again...Hope this helps.

SOURCE: The radio buttons on 09 altima are not responding

First impression is you radio is toast. It maybe some component gone bad on a circuit panel inside the radio. Before you consign it to the deep try "rebooting" it. Most electronically controlled radios have some king of logic and memory boards in them ...so treat your radio like your computer when it starts misbehaving. To reboot the radio disconnect the battery (remove the black/negative lead first then the positive/red lead from the battery), put the key in the ignition and try to start the car (it won't of course but this is to discharge any holding capacitors) and turn on the radio ...again to discharge any holding capacitors. Turn everything off and let it sit overnight if you can. Reconnect the battery. The radio should have lost all saved information (time, stations, EQ settings etc) and may now be responsive to button inputs. If this doesn't work then I'd say the radio is a goner.

I own a 2013 Chevy Equinox. The instrument cluster below the infotainment screen isn't working. Which fuse needs to be changed?

fuse box, I/P instra panel box
13-undefined-undefined-0.jpg learn to test all fuses first. if all good scan tool is next.
F5DA above, fuse 5 ,digital audio? DA?
there like 12 audio option systems sold new on this car, and are complex. the service manual , covers all that.

fuses can be tested 2 ways. (besides plug and guess)
an ohm meter or continuity buzz box.
or a voltmeter.
0 ohms good, infinity bad.
12vdc both sides good (key on)
0vdc one side bad, (key on) blown fuse.

next time say if car can be driven. if can get it fixed in a shop.
ASE shops are best, stealerships not so.

as you can see the problem is power and , is related to failing communications if fuses are in fact good. what stops you from checking fuses first (IDK)

I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 radio went off and won't go back on.fuse under hood is good

I would check voltages on the connector attached to the back of the radio. It is possible there is another inline fuse there, or a problem somewhere in the wiring harness.

2013 Santa Fe Sport radio on am 670 cuts out and back in with varied times off. If I toggle to the next station and back it is there right away. The station does not have a problem on my other car. This is...

cuts out ?
well, all FM radios cut out for.:
1: weak station.
2: stereo can not be held in properly( can be bypassed on most RAD , pick mono)
3: AGC drop out, same as #1

on better radios (RTM) you can defeat these default features.
set the FM to mono channel mode, and now you hear all stations.
also kill the AGC mode. this allows you to hear
the station. and static or both. like a Marconi radio of days of old.
modern radios are programmed to blank weak stations.
tis a fact. im a tech and tuned these features, for 50 years.

ok the fix,
1: move closer to station
2: get a better antenna (vast choices)
3: go to station and turn the gain knob up and get arrested by FCC.
