SOURCE: I dont know which color wires are for what!

Dont know if you tried this already but go to a car audio store and ask for an adapter the plugs into your stereo and then it plugs into the factory wiring harness. its easier and cleaner and less stressfull. if you done so write back and Ill see if I can send you a pick or something.

SOURCE: replacing front turn signal socket on 1990 dodge shadow

Okay. Hook black to black.
Green to green with white stripe.
Yellow to red with white stripe.
That should work. Nothing is going to blow up if it's wrong. It just won't work.

SOURCE: hooking up a new stereo

Go by a stereo shop and get an adapter for your car. It connects all of the correct wires to the aftermarket radio without damaging or removing wires from old connector.

2006 Buick Rendezvous 3.5 need to know Factory wiring color pigtail connector for crankshaft position

funny i just did this.
they sell the pigtails lots of places , mine is off ebay , close to my state
here is how < I used heat shrink tubing
first I took the old connector in hand
and I see the pin numbers clear as day..
'but of destroyed,(a key word) I get the colors off the SM my car I have my real service manual and for sure covers colors.
per pin, all that.
seen here
https://eautorepair.net/Marketing/Default.asp

the aftermarket pig tails are all black.(as they MUST)
that is because this connector is used on vast things cars vast. and devices and makes of all cars. too. endless .... end worry here.

so there no color there.!!! on pigs.
on paper write all that down. pin1 color and all.
then on harness, i cut it back to fresh wire colors.
and solder them on just after heat shrink is slid on,far.away 6"
then slide the HS forward covering joint solder and heat it with my heat gun. (on my car pulled whole harness out.)
repeat times all pins down.
the then put my handy thermalShield(tm)T6 warp over all that rated for 1400deg F. and will never fail again.
used on jet engines, cost me 5 whole bucks.

the yellow is F4 silicon self fusing tape., silver is thermalshield. T6
factory junk warp fails in only 60,000 miles, at 200f close in points.
intake top off. and factor wear point cured too, big yellow below.

Wiring pigtail input speed sensor on my 2000 sonata. The new plug came with three white wires but the wires from car are different colors. color wiring diagram ?

the connector is the same on both the old harness and the new pigtail. As long as you orientate the connectors the same way you just match up the wires. let me try to explain it this way. If you hold the old connector so the part that holds the connector to the sensor is facing up. Hold the new connector exactly the same way. cut the left wire on both and connect the new connector wire to the old wiring harness. Then cut the center wire and connect them. then cut the right wire and connect. No wiring diagram needed.

One thing I will add is to stagger the new connections. Meaning do nut cut them at the place. Cut one wire then cut the next about an inch or so further and then cut the next about an inch or so further than that. This will prevent the new connections from potentially shorting to each other and will keep the harness from becoming really bulky with all the but connectors in the same location.

Friend needs color code for Nissan 2002 Sentra GXE pigtail wires to MAF sensor. Some previous mechanic worked on the used vehicle which is runny crappy now and rigged a "fix" using all same color wires and...

You may need to buy a shop manual from Ebay.
All I have is for a 1999 model, nothing for 2000 - 2006.
The 1999 version shows a white red wire going from terminal 3 on the sensor to the ECCS relay, a red or white wire from terminal 2 going to terminal 48 on the ECM, and an orange or green wire going from terminal 1 to terminal 47 on the ECM.

All the insulation on my map sensor pigtail wires has burned off. A friend of my cut the wires near the computer and I bought a new pigtail... but the wires on the new pigtail are all white and I need to...

Okay here we go, there are three wires from the map sensor, if you look at the sensor there are letters stamped on the plug area, theres an A,B,and C the wires start from the sensor as orange/blk to terminal A then lite green wire to terminal B and last is gray wire to terminal C . im not sure what wires your freind cut but there only one at computer for map sensor and thats the signal wire, all slots at computer are numbered the signal wire is light green and connects to slot #25. heres a diagram for all wires to computer you will need to locate the wire in order to connect them back, this is not hard find the open slots and check diagram for wire color, hope this helps, good luck.3b58cfd.gif

Your best bet is to go to mitchelldiy online and get the wiring diagrams. Not knowing what year your car is and what harness or computer or component your talking about and since the wiring harness may not be the correct one for your application I would be hesitant to give advice that could ruin a computer if hooked up wrong.

It came with no instructions and i need the wrirng diagram for the new pigtail that needs to be tied into the wiring...

Usually Wires are color coded, and if you have multiples of the same color you will most likely need the old pigtail to identify which wire goes where in the pigtail. If you don't have the wiring diagram handy that's the best way to do things. Haynes and Chilton manuals have those with wire color information if you don't have the original pigtail to use as a reference. Without more information on what area you're working on, I can't be of any more help than that as some sensors have multiple voltages that go to and leave them from the computer it's connected to.
