My 1991 Chevy K1500 4.3 will not start when it get hot

My 1991 Chevy K1500 4.3 will not start when it gets hot and it has been going on for at least a year. When I let it sit about 20 minutes it seems to start then.
Over the year I have replaced the fuel pump, alternator, water pump, radiator and most of the control modules that sit on top of the intake manafold area. I can start it sometimes with starter fluid or pouring gas into the carb.

Thanks for the advice. I have also replaced the carb which had new pressure regulator and injectors. So I know that is not it

I did buy a gas cap yesterday and I hope that does fix it..would love and hate the gas cap to fix it after all the replacements up I have done. I am oriented to the vapor lock solution but do not know for sure. I also was thinking of cutting the metal feed fuel line and placing a rubber hose in the middle?

You possibly have a fuel pressure regulator or injector leaking down.

Gets hot, does not over heat, but turn it off and it wont start again until it down, how do i fix it

Does it crank,Turn over? If not it probably is a problem called "heat soak".. the starter is hot just from engine heat and wil not function. If it cranks but will not start i would check to see if it is getting spark.. if not than check the IGN module in the distributer. Do not replace it until you have it checked, costly part, i think Orilly auto parts has a machine to check it.. Could also be a ign coil going bad.. (coil slight chance)

My chevy lumina surges while driving and wont start when its hot and you cut it off after about a couple of hours

If the rpms like to go up and down while stopped, sorry to tell you it is the computer. Good news is that now they are far less expensive and much more plentiful in junkyard than they were when I had to replace mine.

The fuse is blown on that circuit or you have a bad switch. I would of course check the fuse first.

1991 chevy S10 blazer fluctuating oil pressure

I assume from the year it has high mileage. With mileage comes wear in these engine's bearings allowing oil pressure to drop because of the excess clearance between cam and bearings, also the crank and bearings. When the engine is hot and idling the oil is thinner and goes by the bearings quicker. If you have good oil pressure while driving, I'd leave it alone, maybe use a thicker oil or some lucas additive. My 89 does the same thing sometimes in the summer, but don't remember it doing it this summer. I use Mobil-1 and an AC Delco filter.
