There are three main reasons why an engine won’t start. Either there is no fuel or there is no spark or there is no compression.
Check that you are getting fuel delivery. Check that you are getting spark. If compression is down you can usually hear it upon cranking the motor but I doubt that you got a compression problem.
Check ALL fuses and relays. Failing all else, run a simple diagnosis using a code reader

Spray some starting fluid in the throttle body to see if it runs. If so then you have a fuel problem. If it does not then you have an electrical problem and will need to see if the plugs are getting spark. Check fuel pump relay and fuses. Check in the owners manual for their locations. Check the fuse to the injectors to make sure they are good. If you do not have a manual then check out this link.

SOURCE: 1995 Buick Lesabre fuel pump

Take off the plastic hush panel under the dash. About 3 screws and a couple of taps on the firewall end.

On top of that will be a diagram of the fuse panel on the side of the instrument panel. It's vertical and to the right of the glovebox, more or less. It's a mixture of fusees and relay.s Many of them may be empty on your car depending on the options.

The proper way to find the problem would be to pull a plug wire an see if it has spark or hook up a fuel pressure gauge an see if it has fuel pressure . Don't guess an just replace parts if you don't know how to test correctly .

Hello I a m trying to locate the fuel pump relay to check and see if it is bad or check the fuel cut off switch fuel pump not delivering fuel to the motor want to check these parts before ording a fuel...

The 97 Lesabre doesn't have a fuel cut off switch like some other vehicles do. The test I use is to check for power at the fuel pump harness connector near the fuel tank. When you turn the key from Off to Run the computer will close the fuel pump relay and supply power to the pump for about two seconds then it will turn the relay back off until you actually are cranking the engine over. This is a two person test as you need someone to turn the key to "Run" as the other person is checking for power at the connector. If you have over about 120,000 miles then the odds are pretty good that the pump has failed but It's always best to verify it with a test. Good luck and hope this helps!

Location of the fuel shut off on a 1992 buick lesabre

There is no fuel pump cut off switch on the LeSabre. Check the fuse and relay on the passenger side behind the glove box. There should be 4 black relays. The fuse pump is below this and the pump fuse is number 6. The other thing to keep in mind is the Pass lock system may not be recognizing the ignition key and has disabled the fuel pump from the ECM. Lets start with the fuse and relay first and we'll work on the Pass lock relearn process which takes about 30 min to do. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.
