Most likely the wheel bearing may need replacement.

the engine light is a generic fault indicator in your car to point out something is not quite right with the engine, having a loss of power as well is also known in some areas as Limp Mode or Safety Mode. it means the car is restricting the power it gives to ensure no damage it done to the engine.
the only certain way to find out what is wrong is to take it to a garage that has diagnostics equipment that can read the fault codes from the vechicles ECU (the fault codes will be the reason the light on the dash has come on as its reporting a fault somewhere)..
your mechanic should be able to tell you what is wrong with the engine from that and give you a more accurate cost at fixing it.

It's telling you your stabilitrak system is not functioning properly. Sensors in system are failing and setting service light. You need a GM dealer to diagnose system.

If this is a 2011 Early issue, a vehicle made after Sept 2010, or a 2010 for that matter it is under warranty. Take it back to the dealer and make them fix it. The reason I say this is that 1. The repair should be free and 2. There may be a recall on a part that is causing this to come up and again it would be free to be repaired.

If you get an ABS (anti lock brake system) light on as well, you probably have a bad front wheel bearing (the ABS wheel speed sensor is built-in). Check the harnesses going to the sensors first, they may be damaged from turning. If no ABS light accompanying the Stabilitrak message, then you will need to get it scanned for a diagnostic code to further evaluate.

If your stabilitrak light continues to come on, that means the problem with your stability system really need to be checked out. It is not a dangerous issue, you can still drive safely without the aid of stabilitrak. However, since it is designed on your car, you should enjoy the advantages of having a good stabilitrak system because it enhances driving convenience and control, added safety as well.
