I have been trying to order parts for my merc 120 but every dealer says i am using the wrong serial number which is on the block (sticker) 5953052

Your probably not. The number could be obsolete. They are most likely to lazy to go get the catalog and turn the pages to find your part. Your best bet is to pull the part and take it in to be matched up.

What is this motor serial number 556 dash 225 70

what are you asking?
what is your purpose or goal, i can not guess this.

eg: (does my engine serial show the year?)
like that. huh?
no car stated
no year.
no model car.
and no country.
and last no clue as to what engine is there,
like: its a v6 with a carb.
or its and I-4 with EFI (injection)

and what part of motor has this number, some are only casting numbers. the FSM shows the true engine number and location and all meanings of it. to the find details, ever hear of and FSM

I have a 1997 ford explorer 4x4 the rear window wipper dose not work, I also have a 1999 Merc Sable wagon, and the wiper works, will the motor interchange with the Explorer, and how hard is it to change?

check the fuse first!! also,, Use a jumper wire to supply the motor with 12 volts to make sure the motor is either bad or good, if you find the motor is bad, then yes you need to replace it, according to autozone on a quick loo up of the 2 vehicles, the explorer takes a part number 40-2028 and the merc takes a part number 40-2021, so the answer to the quick swap would be no, as far as changing them, once you remove the inner door panel, and removing a couple of small bolts,, the motor change is fairly easy,, however,, I've found that a complete change of the window regulator isn' that much more, and ends the problem in total

I bought a jeep motor and i need to know what year model the motor is. Where can i find this?

some of the core and block parts on the motor will have some form of serial number on them to distinguish models and years of the cars they were made for any form of serial identification can help determine your year.

When changing a fuel relay in a 190e merc does the new relay have to have the same serial number as the old 1?

If you are replacing it with an OEM Mecedes relay, I believe it should. I would check with a Benz Dealer parts department, sometimes the do change the number, to reflect a newer designed part.
