How do you access the engine compartment from the bedroom. 2004 Newmar 4022 with bedroom slide

The motor-controller may be on the fritz, or there is no power (12 volt) to it. My 94 NEWMAR 5th wheel has two slide-opts, and the curb-side controller quit, but I can operate that slide by plugging the wires into the street-side controller.

There's a fuse box behind tyhe glove compartment. You should have access to it when you open the glove compartment. Then there is also the fuse box in the engine compartment, that is next to the windshield wiper fluid on the passenger side. When my side marker lights and license plate light went out, I had to change
a fuse in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Hope this helps

Hello rosd... here are the steps to do this job:
1 Turn the ignition off. Open the hood.

2 Unclip the clips on the driver's side of the air filter compartment, which is located directly to the right of the engine.

3 Lift up the air filter compartment lid until there is a large enough opening to remove the filter. The lid does not need to come all the way off.

4 Pull the old filter out of the compartment.

5 Slide the new filter into the air filter compartment.

6 Reposition the air filter compartment lid. Lock the clips on the side of the compartment.

The radio fuses are usually located under the dashboard on the drivers side or in a compartment you can access only when the drivers door is open on the side of the exposed dashboard. The Power Door Fuses are most likely located on the driver side under a cover in the Engine compartment.

"look for your air filter box. its a big square box on the right hand side of the car under the hood. you cant miss it. ther should either be clips or screws holding the box together. you have to get the top off of it to get to the filter... just replace the filter, and put the top back on and ur good"
