My 2015 Ram 1500 Lonestar has suddenly started overheating. Im not sure how to diagnose problem. Ive only had the truck since december.

Check your rad hoses. They will tend to collapse (**** in) & cut down on flow at highway speeds, more than city, due to increased demand & flow on cooling system. If they don't feel relatively stiff, I'd change them. You might even see them **** in while sitting and revving the engine a bit.

if you have a hole on the hose you going to overheat.......replace hose as soon as you can
don't drive while is overheating.

your code could be either a intermittent signal from the cam or crank sensor.
the crank sensor is located on top the engine clear in the back where the transmission bolts to the engine

My 2005 ram 1500 4.7 has been running progressively hotter over the last couple of months. ive changed out the thermostat, fan clutch ,and waterpump and i still cant make it 30 miles to work without it...

Remove the radiator and have it stripped and rodded out then reassembled by a radiator repairers. They can be blocked badly internally and otherwise look ok.

After my 96 ram 1500 318c.u. gets up to temp. the temp gauge keeps going up. it never has over heated but i dont drive it very far. ive replaced upper and lower hoses, thermastat and radiator cap. Im lost?...

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. That would be my next guess. Maybe a bad coolant sensor. You might have a bad water pump as well. Make sure the fans are kicking on properly also. Check your radiator.
