What does it mean when the throttle body light. Comes on and off when i come to a stop light but not while im driving

se if egr is controled by vacium or electric
if it is by vacium then locate the egr solenoide and make sure it has vacium in one hose w/ engine runing if it does then replace solenoide

I believe it's all related to youe brake light switch. There is a recall on it. It sticks and causes the epc kight to flash, also causing your other stated issues. If recall working has been done, buy the dealer switch. It's easy to replace.

Sounds like your turbo is done. If oil is coming out and it won't build boost, it's your turbo. I wouldn't push my luck. If you continue to try to drive the car and the turbo finally goes to pieces. Those pieces will most likely go down inside your motor and that would be an expensive mess to clean up. Sorry. Don't forget to give a vote. thanks.

Hi Dolph, Take the vehicle for a diagnostic scan. I suspect something wrong with the air flow sensor or mapping sensor. Regards John
