May want to check cooling fan control module...as far as the a/c compressor you could bypass the pressure switch just to see if the compressor comes on.
Did you test the wiring for any breaks or shorts with a continuity tester? I know this is a frustrating issue, if you can't get it to cooperate just wire it yourself but be careful to use relays for each switch to either can and the clutch. Hopefully it won't come to that, but if so you won't be the first one to do this. I had a Chevrolet truck that refused to work despite having no apparent wiring or relay issues and just had to wire it up to a few toggle switches using relays & heavier gauge wiring/high amp switches as well because if not they'll cause more problems, like overheating and melting or even worse, a fire!
First things first: Are you certain that the compressor has the amount of refrigerant needed to make it cycle on when the switch signals it to come on? Being Low on Refrigerant will keep it from coming on and working properly?

The water temp sensor is located near the thermostat housing. This sensor is what tells the ECM to turn the fan on/off. The water temp sending unit is located near the same area. You know you have the correct sensor is because the water temp sensor has a 2 prong plug. The water temp sending unit only has 1 prong.

You were close! Most Fords have a CCRM (Continuous Control Relay Module) thats on the passenger side fenderwell. It has 4 relays: one for the AC compressor cluth, one for the fuel pump, and two for the electric fan (high- and low-speed.) The AC is the one that fails the most. You can replace the CCRM by removing the intake air filter box and working through the fenderwell openings. If it gets to difficult you must remove the wheel and splash cover to replace it from the wheel opening.
