Sounds like a bad diode in the alternator, feedback to ground draining battery......check alternator.....always disconnect battery ground cable to avoid arcing and shorting the diodes in the alternator....connect negative battery cable last when working with polarity sensitive devices..........

Why is my 2007 Sebring 2.4 ignition switch headlight switch causing total power loss when put under load?

Chrysler Sebring 2.4L
well battery good first, not any of that you posted
12..6vdc charged, rested volts,. 13 to 15vdc riunning
car is dead, I presume.
voltage drop is easy to diagnose using any $15 up, DMM meter..
The TIPM is not plug and play on most cars so now a new added problem , omg hard to solve.
some places sell TIPM pre programmed to specific VIN # cars.
got that?
head lamps run with KEY off and if not that is what we fix
fix simple first and then luck out on all other vastly complex problems solved
the computers (PCM/TCM/BCM/TIPM)_ love to go nuts below 10vdc. so learn to use a voltmeter first makes sure power is 12vdc not 10.
head lamps connect to BUSS, 12vdC hot at all times..
all fuses must be good, (ohms zero in hand)
if not comms can be lost , crashing the card house.

your battery test is a hard fail, and has zero to do with TIPM
ever.
the battery must be charged, and load tested good. this is first.
that takes 2 tools , charger/load tester 100amps.
lacking that take battery to store get it tested.(free of cost)_
ok battery is now good,(i pretend now ,.here x)
  1. the battery has 2 cables Plus and minus and 4 end lugs.
  2. the lugs must never be reversed of BOOM, !
  3. the 4 lugs all 4 must be rust free and tight.
  4. the ground cable end (minus) must not go to the body ever direct or BOOM. it goes to starter bolt or direct to engineblock massive metal. or BOOM. (starter is 300 amp load see?)
  5. the PLUS cable goes to outboard starter LUG, only
  6. yes all cars have body to engine bonding strap, that is blow to H3LL , battery ground, hooked to body, oops bad acts blew it up;.
use the DMM correctly (dmm dial to volts DC.)
connect the meter to battery NEG lug (black test lead tip)
connect read lead to engine, metal..
meter reads zero
key on, meter reads zeo
of not below 0.5vdc (ground spec) grounds are NO GOOD .
now put meter red wire end to PLUS lug battery
12.6vdc is charged, battery if not this , charge the battery for 4hr to 8 hours 10 to 15amp chargers are best. charger it
the let it site for 1hr,and 12.6vdc is charged bat.
this test is called SOC,state of charge test, on all lead acid batteries.
that was just 2 tests of many
but since your battery test failed, there is no way to advance
and do stop throwing parts.
use the meter first.

1 more point
do not replace any starter or alternator with battery lug MINUS connected or blow up huge 100amp fuses or worse those hard to find 100+amps FUSEIBLE links.
when those blow up the TIPM will be dead. useless.

learn to use a real schematic for this car. and find where power is lost not guess ever. use the meter

Parking lamps not working on my 2003 dodge ram 5.7 hemi

RAM 1500 ,2500 OR 3500,. LOAD RATING NOT TOLD !!!
CARS (OR RAM) HAVE UP TO 10 OR MORE PARKING LAMPS
4 CORNERS.
4 SIDES
2 LICENSE PLAYS EVEN WITH 2 PER PLATE?
2 SIDE MIRRORS. 14 POSSIBLE AND VARIES BY TRIM PACKAGE
ARE THEY ALL DEAD? NOT TOLD AT ALL AND MATTERS HUGE.
SEE?
IF you scan the PCM I bet it tells you what;s wrong./

IF ALL ARE BAD THE PARK FUSE IS BLOWN,. EASY NO?
BUT SOME CARS THE BCM BRAIN RUNS THEM ALL , NO FUSE.
NO KIDDING NONE. ( BCM WITH PARK MAGIC REGULATORS)
ok no magic just fuses this year.
WILL NOW READ THE SM TO YOU ON YOUR CAR, GREAT ENGINE WAS TOLD./
NOW THE ANSWER FOR USA ONLY AND ONLY 1500 TRUCK]
FUSE 50AMPS #15 SLOT NOT BLOWN
PARK RELAY NOT BAD.
FUSE 34 NOT BLOWN AND FUSE 32 NOT BLOWN
FRONT CONTROL MODULE NOT GETTING PARK SWITCH SIGNALS.
NOW THE Signal path
H/L switch closed to park. position,
goes to IP cluster brain. and it sends serial data vIA PCI network to the front TIPM
the TPIM sees say , park enabled.
and this closes park relays]
if the 2 fuses are not BLOWN, all 14 maps glow

why not check fuses first and if good scan the PCM next
does truck drive ok?

My 2011 ram rhr radio losses memory when I turn key off

A dodge RAM truck, that?
RHR means what?
all radios (most) have wire called, 12vdc memory wire,.
if that wire is cut broken shorted or fuse to it blown memory will be dead. it is that simple.
or installed wrong, did someone do that?, or is radio stock like it was 2011.? then is fuse blown.
RHR I think is Dodge real radio name best I can tell (vast radios exist)
Dodge (FCA) calls those fuses, IOD.
there is one for the radio too, day 1 new out the door
and the factory pulls them all , just before the cars ship to the dealer.
so the battery is not a wreak on deliver.
Iignition OFF , drains, is the name or as we ETs call it memory power. and is.
this wire on radios since 1970, first transistor car radios with station memory, so 50 years now same story ..
main power and ground, IN.
memory power In.
antenna power.>>>out.
speaker.>> out.

a scan toll will also show DTC error for and IOD fuse blown
amazing no?
or lost communications DTC errors making radio fail.(in odd ways)
newer cars the RADIO is married to the BCM
and if IOD blown or comms fail
radio can not save memory.

here is the SM quote on this car dodge RAM 2011
U0184-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH RADIO
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information. When Monitored: Continuously when the ignition is on. Battery voltage between 10 and 16 volts. Ignition Off Draw (IOD) fused installed. Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) is configured correctly. Set Condition: Bus messages not received from the Radio for approximately two to five seconds. Diagnostic Test VERIFY THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS ACTIVE Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and the battery is fully charged before proceeding. Turn the ignition on. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs. Is this DTC active? Yes (Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM)/Diagnosis and Testing)(Refer To List 1) and perform the U0184-87-Lost Communication with Radio - Missing Message diagnostic procedure. No (Refer to Non-DTC Diagnostics/Communication - Diagnosis and Testing)(Refer To List 2) and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure. List 1 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics / MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM), DS/DJ/D2 - Pickup / Diagnosis and Testing 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics / MODULE, Totally Integrated Power (TIPM), DD/DP - Chassis Cab / Diagnosis and Testing List 2 29 - Non-DTC Diagnostics / Communication, DS/DJ/D2 - Pickup / Diagnosis and Testing 29 - Non-DTC Diagnostics / Communication,
...

as you and see , you can not fix modern cars lacking a scan too.
can not. (even 10 computer in the car) see this???????????

Where is the fuel pump relay on 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7

There isn't a fuel pump relay , it is controlled by the totally integrated power module !

MODULE-TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER

DESCRIPTION

The Totally Integrated Power Module (2)(TIPM) is a

combination unit that performs the functions of the

Power Distribution Center (PDC) and the Front Control

Module. The TIPM is a printed circuit board based

module that contains fuses, internal relays and a

microprocessor that performs the functions previously

executed by the FCM. The TIPM (2) is located in the

engine compartment, next to the battery (1) and connects

directly to the B+ cable (5) via a stud located on

top of the unit. The ground connection is via electrical

connectors. The TIPM provides the primary means of

voltage distribution and protection for the entire vehicle.

The molded plastic TIPM housing includes a base and

cover. The TIPM cover is easily opened or removed

for service and has a fuse and relay layout map integral

to the inside surface of the cover. The TIPM housing

base and cover are secured in place via mounting

tabs. The mounting tabs secure the TIPM (2) to the

battery tray mounting bracket (3).

OPERATION

All of the current from the battery and the generator output enters the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM) via

a stud on the top of the module. The TIPM cover is removed to access the fuses or relays. Internal connections of

all of the power distribution center circuits is accomplished by a combination of bus bars and a printed circuit board.

For complete circuit diagrams, refer to the appropriate wiring information. The wiring information includes wiring

diagrams, proper wire and connector repair procedures, details of wire harness routing and retention, connector
pin-out information and location views for the various wire harness connectors, splices and grounds.

Headlights not staying on while driving 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. I took to a service center and they suggested replacing the light control module "switch", but have to take to the dealership. Dealership...

This vehicle has what is called a TIPM (totally integrated power module). It is actually the whole underhood fusebox/relay center. It is a module and is where the headlamps recieve the power when the pcm and body control modules recieve signal from the headlamp switch. Very common for these TIPM units to go bad causing this type of problem. TIPM usually costs around $650 new from Chrysler. May be able to find a used one. No programming is needed when replacing this TIPM. I would suggest having it at least diagnosed by a qualified technician before investing in the replacement. Hope this helps.
