you said fuel rail has pressure , why do you want keep checking fuel system?
check ignition , and if no spark present check reference sensor(crank position sensor) , if it's bad you won't get spark or fuel.
if the engine light stays on you'll need to have a dianostic test done. it will pinpoint the problem. call shops in your area to see who has the cheapest price. it could just be a bad battery, i feel your pain. good luck
