SOURCE: where is throttle position sensor located on 2000 honda passport

Normally attached at opposite end of throttle linkage. Remove your air cleaner intake hose at throttle body, and observe throttle plate that opens & closes as you press accelerator, it will be at the end of that, on outside of housing.

SOURCE: 2000 Honda Passport wont start.

I ended up finding a repair shop here in Cleveland. The problem ended up being a short in the electrical system. My fuse kept blowing. That's why it wouldn't restart. If you decide to take your vehicle to a repair shop, have them check out the electrical system. My problem was found under the drivers side fender. Some of the wires were corroded. Good luck!

SOURCE: Vacuum Leak on a 2000 Honda passport

Replace upper intake gaskets. They are made of metal and plastic. A common problem. Do not remove the very top plenum cover gasket.

Diagnostics code po401 honda passport not shifting

code p 0401 refers to exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR) system insufficient flow detected ====causes --hose leak/blockage --basic setting not carried out (if applicable)--wiring--EGR valve --EGR solenoid---ECM
has little to do with not shifting unless the leak is affecting the vacuum actuator for the transmission
so check for vacuum leaks in hoses in the engine bay
