SOURCE: Two discs are jammed in

May be the discs stuck inside can get damaged. If you can see the disks then you can slightly pull the disks by player. If the disk tray cover is got close and disc is not seen then, with thin putty knife you can try to manually open the disc tray cover and open it and remove the disks. But if nothing is possible and every thing seems to be jammed then you will need to open the dash and remove the radio/dvd player out and disassemble the dvd player and remove the disk.Once the dvd player is out,its not very hard to disassemble the player. Its just fitted with screws. But removing the player out of dash and disassembling the dash is not very easy.--------- Dont forget to disconnect the battery before you proceed. --------- Click this link directly to get the procedure of instrument panel dash disassembly and removing the radio/dvd player out:--- http://technoanswers.blogspot.com/2011/03/how-to-disassemble-instrument-panel.html ------------------ This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Check the fuses... the rear one may have a fuse behind the unit itself.

2008 Yukon Denali map dvd doesn't work. It keeps saying "DISC INSTALLED IN NOT A MAP DISC". How come?

All you have to do to remove the disc and press the MENU button on the right side of the touch screen and choose the NAV option to change the search area/database. One of the choices is to eject the disc. Good Luck.

Navigation system at Yukon xl 2008 does not read the map DVD

I shipped my 2006 Yukon Denali from USA to Saudi Arabia. When I to purchase the Middle East map DVD for the navigation system. GM Navigation answered me that they do not have the middle east DVD and I should contact the European branch. The dealer in Saudi Arabia is asking for $1200 for the disc and I know it is worth no more than $400. Could you please direct me to someone who sells the 06 Denali navigation map DVD? Thanks..

Disc Region eror

you may have a different region on you dvd to your dvd player. say your dvd player was 1st region you can only play 1st region dvds if you try a 2nd or 3rd region dvd it would not work. you can go to a dvd specialist to get it tuned to a multiregion dvd player.
go to a dvd player shop and ask if they know how to tune it.

Location of fuse box/panel for 2004 yukon denali xl

There are 2 fuse panels in the Denali.
One is a panel on the drivers side, its on the dash but facing the door.

The ohter is under the dash and above the pedals, this one is much tougher to access.

Your Owner's Manual should tell you where the fuses are that you need to access.
