Here is the procedure from Autozone.com
Removal & Installation Specific to:
Hyundai Santa Fe 2006-2008
Hyundai Veracruz 2007-2008
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Negative battery cable and wait at least 3 minutes, Speedometer cable and shift cable from the transaxle, Starter motor wiring, Starter motor bolts, and the starter
To install:
Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten starter motor bolts to 20-25 ft. lbs. (27-34 Nm).

Do I require any special tools to replace the driver's side rear reflector on the bumper of a 2008 Hyundai Vera Cruz. It appears to snap in, but I don't want to break it. Thanks.

There's nothing in the manuals about special tools. I have the same problem. I think you'll have to remove the lower bumper in order to get good access to it. It appears that there is a black housing screwed into the bumper from the rear side and the lens would snap into that.

Which fuse is for the rear outlets on 2008 veracruz

For Hyundai Veracruz, rear outlet fuse box is in engine compartment. On left side (next to blue water cap). Refer to manual page 7-47 and 7-51. There is two 30Amp fuses.

2008 veracruz alternator keeps dying

I would think after the second alternator they would start looking for the real problem.
Unless the extended warranty does not pay for diagnostic time.
You may have to take it to a shop that focuses on electrical systems to find the real issue. Or pay the dealer to troubleshoot it.

Is a special "powered" module

I would use a Curt 56024 T-Connector Kit. This lets you connect the wiring kit without needing to splice any wires.
