SOURCE: 1999 honda odyssey-engine stalls while driving-electric is fine-

Maybe the solution
There is a recall on the ignition switch,
My 99 Ody with 120K would suddenly switch off and come back while runing, Take it to dealer and report to Honda, Since out of warranty. The dealer would do the repairs estimated at $100 charge to you.

SOURCE: 1999 bmw 528i replaced battery and alternator

Replace your battery when its being tested there not testing it under a heavy enough load. A battery could have a dead cell in it and still show good on the charger. I've had that problem a few times.

SOURCE: 1998 honda accord rebuilt transmission

There is a break in period on new transmissions, however it should not be shifting like you described. Shifting is controlled by sensors and solenoids, it is the clutch disks and friction plates that need to be broken in. A number of things could cause a transmission to act like this. You should have them do a whole system scan and find out if there are any faults. It there are, correct them before you damage the transmission.

If it were normal for a car to shift poorly with a new transmission, Honda would never sell any new cars.

Check fluid level and color - If it is burned, take it back immediately.

How can I start my 2003 Honda odyssey van with a bad starter

Unless it is a manual transmission you can't start it unless you have a working starter motor, it is about a 1 hour job to replace the starter, a rebuilt starter is around $100.00 US at link 2003 HONDA ODYSSEY 3 5L V6 Starter Motor RockAuto

Had transmission rebuilt on my 2003 honda odyssey car drove back to naples fl from miami its the next day and the car wont start hit gas and nothing

If it isnt turning over you may just have a bad battery connection or ground. They may have taken your starter out when they rebuilt the trans and maybe a wire is loose or came off.

2001 Odyssey transmission is slipping. even at 65 mph. Had it flushed but to no avail. Sometimes the gear indicator light will blink in Drive and it stops slipping but has almost no acceleration from...

This is a well known issue for Odysseys from 2000 thru 2003. Honda improved the transmission in 2004. Basically, you need to make a decision. Trade in your vehicle while you can still drive it, or have the transmission rebuilt (or replaced) by a reputable shop; preferably before it leaves you stranded with an expensive tow charge. The transmission will eventually slip so badly that the car will not be drivable. I have a 2002 Odyssey that had exactly the same symptoms and I barely got it to the trans. shop in time.

Transmission rebuilt by a local guy solenoid problem

If what your saying is that after you take it from the shop this started happening then he needs to replace this for you. The reason you had the transmission rebuilt was to make sure everything work properly he was also suppose to check the pressure which i mean by doing a series of test to make sure everything was working and to conclude what was wrong so this way he know what to change long story short you didn't get your transmission rebuilt properly they need to return your money or pay for this part yet again i think you was being ripped off by the rebuilt shop.good luck

I have a 1999 honda odyssey.

Take it to Autozone and get them to read the code. If it is a minor problem (i.e., needs new gas cap) fix it and I would disconnect the battery for about 10 minutes and reset the check engine light. It should go off. If it is a serious problem it will come back on. If not it will stay off.

Before you do this get the radio code as disconnecting the battery will disable your radio and you will have to enter a code. It should have come with the car, If not call the dealer and he should be able to give it to you.

Good luck.

2001 Honda Odyssey Transmission Problem

The Odyssey has notorious bad transmissions from 2000-2003. You will not get anything on a trade, the trans can be fixed for about $2k. If everything else on the van still works and you like it, figure you bought it again for $2k. I changen my wife's Odyssey trans at 175K miles for $2k and she is happy so therefore I am happy too :-)
