Hi, this might be because of a voltage drop on the cables or the battery needing replacement. The colder the weather the more current your starter will braw. You can check for a voltage accross the bateery by connecting a volt meter to the battery and crank it if the voltage drop below 9.6V your battery might need replacement, if not you will need to see what the voltage drop is on the solenoid. You should have battery power on the terminal that activates the solenoid in order to get the solenoid to energise. If you do not have battery voltage on that terminal I suggest putting a relay between the ignition switch and the starter or replacing the wiring harness between the 2. Also check the connection on the ignition switch itself as you can get a bad connection there to.
You killed the tranmissision in it , Have a nice bill for your (Screwup)

The cars pcm,or ecu (computer) controls the injector
pulse width, the timing & how long they are open
That type problem is way beyond your ability, even
with a wiring diagram
You need to check for spark & injector pulse when cranking,
to confirm that the crank sensor is working, as well as fuel pressure
Beyond that, you need a repair shop with an oscilloscope
to test things
