SOURCE: what oil does 2005 kia amanti use

Depends on where you live in the country.  In TN where I live most people just use 10W30 all year, but if you live in a colder area you would use 10W30 in the summer and 5W30 in the winter.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for an honest rating.

SOURCE: will be replacing brakes on 04 kia amanti soon.

Yes be careful with the caliper pistons, make sure they do not fall out.
You must push them back into the cylinders in order to put new pads in.
Thats now out of the way, Just be sure to lube up the sliding pins on the calipers. if you are replacing rotors be careful of the brake lines when you remove the caliper and to hang the caliper with a wire hanger or caliper hanger if you have one to not stress the brake lines

SOURCE: I have a 2004 Kia Amanti with a "Check Engine"

P0302 is a cylinder misfire detected in cylinder #2. it can be caused by Bad spark plug, failed plug wire or coil pack, or failed injector. these are the most common reasons in most likely order.

Abs and brake lights on 2006 amanti

Ok if you have brake light on the dash and an abs light then you will need to check some things frist make sure the rear brake lights are all working then check the fluid in the master cylinder and fill it but only to full line check all fuses if all of theme are ok you will have to have it scanned to find out if it's a speed sensor or the pump.

Our kia amanti's breaks build up and stop the car, then when we use a wrench and blead the line under the hood the breaks start working normally again.

do you mean that you pump the brakes to build up pressure in order to stop?

bleeding brakes requires you to bleed them from each wheel starting at the right rear. procede as follows: have someone sit in the drivers seat. have them pump the brakes slowly and forceably to build up pressure. maintain force on the pedal. starting at the right rear, open the bleed screw slowly. the pedal will go to the floor and the fluid will drain. hold the pedal to the floor and tighten the bleed screw. repeat this procedure several times until you are sure there is no air in the line. follow these steps at each wheel- left rear, right front, left front. keep reservoir filled with fluid. fill after each wheel. (note) get a length of rubber hose that fits snuggly over the end of the bleed screw
and drain fluid into a container.

i think you were draining the anti-lock brake system. in which, case follow the steps above for that also.

Would like to know what a certain dashlight (dummy light ) means on a 2004 Kia Amanti. It is located under the tep indicator. It is a rectagle with water lines in it and an opening on the top of it....

This is your low coolant light and is probably just getting build-up and should be replaced. It will either be on the over flow bottle or on the radiator.

Brake lights won't turn off

sounds like it is a brake light switch located at the brake peddle. test the switch and if it is faulty replace it.
