If you are asking about the emergency flashers, you can gently pry out the flasher button located in the center of the dash and unplug the flasher switch once it is out.

SOURCE: engine light 2006 pontiac g6(reset)

first be sure that its the engine light and not the "service" light. the service light will usually illuminate if its time for an oil change. if its the service light ur owners manual should tell u how to reset it. if its ur engine light then try disconnecting ur positive battery cable for 1 minute. that should reset ur ecm and get rid of the engine light. if the engine light comes back on then have a diagnostic scan done to determine whats causing it. Remove everything from the headliner and remove all of the trim holding it in place. Carefully pry the headliner out from one side and the rest will now be easily removed. Unless the car has been subject to abuse and intense heat the headliner will not come loose from the backing and can be reinstalled.

2006 Pontiac G6 anti theft triggered. A locksmith made a new key car, but cranks no start.

You probably need to do a key relearn procedure. Turn the key to the ON position for 15-20 minutes until the security light goes out. Then turn the key off and back on again until the security light goes out. You need to repeat this 3 times, then once again turn the key off and back on, this time the security light should light and go out after its 3 second check. Now the car should start normally.

Where is the flasher unit located on a 2006 Pontiac G6?

Hello and welcome to FIXYA. this vehicle does not have a conventional lighting system in it. In order to diagnose it, you require a scan tool capable of accessing the Body Control Module ( BCM).. There are no relays or flashers in the system. The turn signal light switch is only an input to the BCM. The BCM controls the turn signal bulbs by pulsing a voltage to each bulb depending on which way you are turning. In order to diagnose the problem you need to monitor the signal light switch input to the BCM and the output to the bulbs. As for the actual cause of the problem it could be the switch, the BCM or one of the wire connections it the system. As your probem is intermittant is will not be easy to diagnose.

I have a 2005 Pontiac G6 that the hazard flashers don't work.

I'm not sure but alot of other gm models have the flasher built into the hazard switch. Gm has a real problem with this style of switch/flasher. I've replaced lots of them, but I'm not sure if it is the same design and Impala, Montecarlo, and malibu, but I bet it is.
