Place a volt meter on the battery posts must be 12 volts or higher if not charge battery, if ok place the meter across battery cable terminals ,if less than battery voltage clean battery posts and terminals fault found. If ok go to starter motor check voltage from large cable to starter body must be battery voltage if not repair cable , if ok check battery voltage on small wire at starter motor must be battery voltage with ign key in start position , if all ok replace starter motor.
There are a lot of possibilities. Bad starter relay, Bad ignition switch, bad starter solenoid, bad starter, anti theft engaged. First try hitting the starter while someone has the key in the start position.

I had the same problem last week, I took it to the dealer because it was still under warranty. He said it is due to a part that is commonly corroded and needs replacing. I am waiting on the part now. Not sure what it is but I can post when I find out. I am in Wisconsin, so the running boards take a lot of abuse in the winter
