Sorry about two pictures. Found this on youtube, video showing how to remove blower motor. In the text, you can see years listed and it says l300. In the video, they removed windshield cowl to get at blower motor. The cowl is at base of windshield on the outside. you can check out the video and see what you think? good luck.

screws on the top of the dash in the Saturn. Then pry the dashboard up and away. This may seem like a pain to get to, but it's a must if you want to fix the heater blower motor resistor.

The blower motor resistor is located in the passenger front footwell. It is in the HVAC case very close the bulkhead. It has an elongated oval connector with 4 or 5 wires going to it. The resistor itself resembles a circuit board, not the typical blower resistor.

should be next to the blower or where passenger feet is at the black box down there u should be able to pull straight down and it right there

Hi Tim, The resistor is fitted into the fan housing behind the center consul. to get to it, remove the side kick panel and follow the cables for the fan. Disconnect the plug and remove the screw holding the unit in place. Remove the defective unit and fit the new one. Reconnect the plug and refit the panel. Enjoy the breeze. Regards John

Why are you changing the resistor? Is the blower not working at all, or intermittently? The problem might lir in thewiring behind the control panel. My 2001 l series work sometimes, and the wiring was to blame. Easier fix than that resistor!

this resistor is located on the lower rightside of the dash, it is next to blowermotor and is in heater box, this part slides into heater box and is held in by two screws, its like a T it slides into the box and then the top of the T sits outside the heater box and two screws hold it, heres a picture of the resistor , hope this is helpful.

it's by the firewall pass side in the plastic blower box. Multi wire plug and two screws are showing.
