SOURCE: where is the oil filter located on a 2006 cts cadillac

There is an aluminum bolt head on top of what looks like a metal can on the top side of the engine. Its near the fill tube and dipstick - drove me crazy, too!

SOURCE: Where is the oil filter located in a 2006 Cadillac

Open hood and stand at driverside fender. Look at oil cap and then 6 inches to rear of cap to see a silver cap with 24mm nut slightly below plastic next to engine. Unscrew cannister cap and lift out.

My cadillac cts 04 the break lights wont turn off. i already changed the break light switch im thinking its the fuse. wats the name of this fuse and were do i find it? any help is good thank you

Hello. Under your brake pedal is a switch with a plunger on, that activates your lights when depressed. Just follow up along the pedal and you will see (probably) a white switch. It sounds like the plunger switch is stuck in. These are quite cheap to replace and you might be able to prise the plunger switch out to turn the brake lights off. If it was a fuse it would not work. Can you leave feedback if this helps. Thanks

My brake lights went out on my 2006 cadillac cts. i checked the bulbs and the are fine. I located the fuse box under the back seat but have no clue which one to change.

If all the brake light went out at the same time, then i would look at the brake switch. this is located along the brake pedal somewhere. remove it and play with it and see if will get them going again. if you do get the lights to start working, replace the switch. good luck.

Take it to any local repair shop.

The ABS Relay,is for the system pump motor, nothing to do with lighting circuits.

Check brake switch !

I have a 2006 cadillac cts. on the message center (stereo) it keeps saying "right rear door ajar" the door is closed but the message keeps displaying. the most annoying part is that it continues to beep....

You must first see if you can make the light go off by manually pressing the switch in the door jam. If the light goes off, either the switch is out of adjustment or the door is. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!
