If it's a 4.2l it is on the left of the vehicle under the power steering pulley. It twists to the right, or clock-wise as you are looking at the engine. Use a 3/8" ratchet handle and possibly an extension.
Good Luck. I'm not sure if you have a v8.

Check your engine oil and break oil weather it is in below low level or full, if it has in low level get an engine oil for your car module and pour it. otherwise go to authorized Hyundai service centre and check for it.

Honda accord 2005 ex battery light turned on right when i turned it on. Can i continue driving it or not

battery lights do turn on with the ignition and go out when the alternator is charging
if it stays on you are running on the battery and that may give you 15 minutes before it stops the engine
do the firstb check and see if the alternator drive belt is fitted and not broken

Need to know where to find a routing diagram for the serpentine belt on a 2000 honda accord lx 4 cylinder

see the following site that I found by googling "2000 honda accord serpentine belt replacement" You will need to know what engine size and whether you have AC.

My Honda Accord wont start even with a jump. The lights come on but wont turn over. No click, no sound, no nothing

IT's those short drives that burn down a battery! The starting of an engine requires mucho electric to get it running. The alternator then charges the battery, but slowly! If you also have the lights and stereo on it is even slower. Get the battery FULLY charged with a commercial battery charger. Then check to see if the alternator is charging up the battery after you start it. If not, replace the alternator. If the battery dies overnight or in a few days...replace the battery.

First my ac fan was not blowing as hard as normal still cooling just not blowing, then two days later my battery warning light came on,10 minutes later while running the electrical system just shut down....

Sounds like the alternator has gone bad. Jump start the car and check the voltage at the battery. You should see around 14 volts if the alternator is working. If you see around 12 the alternator is not charging.

Labor rates and parts pricing various greatly depending on where you are. Your best bet to find the most accurate pricing for your area would be to call some local shops to get some phone quotes.

You can expect anywhere from $300 to $600 to have the alternator replaced at a shop. If you do it yourself you can expect to pay $100 to $275 for the alternator at a parts store.

What's your problem?1995 gmc safari alternator replacement. Need some kind of diagramed overview of the alternator and how it connects, what it looks like, how to do it basically

Hello! First see Serpentine Belt configuration diagram below... Alternator is part "C"...

If you have a voltmeter...read across the battery with engine off...Record...Start engine read again...Voltage must be 1.8 -2 volts higher; This means Alternator is working...

To Remove:disconnect (-) battery cable...Air Inlet Duct...Serpentine Belt (idler pulley maintains tension)...Heater hose brace...Wiring from Alternator...Mounting bolts...Remove alternator...

To Install: Install Alternator loosely...Tighten Rear Bolt to 37 ft. lbs...Front bolt to 18ft. lbsTighten Brace to Intake to 18ft lbs....Connect wiring...Install belt...Adjust Idler Pulley so belt moves less than 3/4" when tight...Connect (-) battery cable....Re-test as noted above...Guru...........Saaile

New battery, partial new alternator but the battery light still comes on at slow speeds?

Usually this type of problem is caused by a loose belt. Sometimes it is an alternator problem, but most of the time a new belt will fix it.

93 accord. battery light

Yes it could be the alternator, or more specifically your voltage regulator which is part of your alternator. An auto elec should be able to test it
