My A/C does not cool off I added refrigeration coolant replace heater and A/C blower motor, resistor, clocht and low pressure switch.
The a/c relay is in the engine compartment on the driver side just lift your hood and press the lid clip by looking under the cover it will show you a diagram of the fuse and relay layout most relays are on the right bottom area of the fuse box , locate which one is your relay and if you wan to test to be sure just take one of the other relays out and plug it in where your a/c relay goes , this will help you figure if it the relay for the time being
Thank you Jessie but still can find it, on the fuse box diagram does not show any relay.
Okay then its right under the dash between hood latch and brake release , youll have to take the panel off to be able too see it
Hi Jessie i was not able to locate the relay but i added more refrigeraton and the clotch is working but not cooling?
How much freon did you put in it ,maybe your system needs the vaccume to be pulled from your refrigerant system and that has to be done by a a/c certified tech.

SOURCE: Location of the rear blower
The blower motor resistor gets very hot, so it is always located in a position where the blower can keep it cool. Inside the box with the blower but accessed from the outside, usually with two screws holding it in.
SOURCE: heater blower motor only works on high
You most likely need to replace the ignition switch. Sounds weird, but check out other posts. It works.
SOURCE: blower motor does not work
I had the same problem, replace, replace, replace. Check, check and recheck. What I found was the blower motor resistor, located in the blower squirrel cage area, two prongs and a curly wire, was bad. Took the new one back, (it ohmed out okay, continuity ok, all ok!) replaced it with another, and Bingo, problem solved. Frustrating to say the least. After two relays and a blower switch, and test, test and retest. It was a faulty resistor. Made in Mexico. And no guarentee, even though new, it works. Trial and error. Even the dealer parts are Honcho en Mexico. Thanks NAFTA. You gonna make us all welfare babies.
SOURCE: blower motor not working at all. 2003 ram
the resitor operates ground, if theres no power then its a bad fuse under the hood in the power fusebox, or #10 fuse inside the leftside of dash, power for the blower comes from the ignition switch, double check all fuses,if you had no ground to blower then i would say the resistor, make sure you have a good ground on the test light, then check for power with key on again, heres a wiring diagram to help you, good luck.
Testimonial: "The connection on the resistor was bad. Thank you for your help."

Hi, On the passenger side, up under the dash is your blower motor. Have the key on and the fan switch on and bump the motor with you hand. It is the unit with the quick disconnect wire going to it on the right side closet to the wheel well.I took mine out today and cleaned it with spray cleaner for electric motors (NON-FLAMMABLE) and put it back in. There are only three 8 mm bolts holding it in place. I have a new one on order from PEPBOYS($51.00)but for now it's working just fine!
